In my old house I got 135 kb/s and then I had to move in with my grandparents and I thought "What will their internet be? Even if they have internet..." Then it was 2 mbps and fucking flipped out

Living in Student apartments is great. For $0 a month I get 100 mbit connection. I still pay quite a lot of rent but at least the internet is "free". Still, awesome that these guys managed to do it themselves for a fraction of the cost.

Holy fuck, that's over ten times faster than my work which is a University supplied from the JANET education network [IMG]http://www.speedtest.net/result/2510000433.png[/IMG] at the main campus it's about double and at home I get about 30meg with like 4meg upload with Virgin. This is a great example of an effective not-for-profit co-operative model

Since the switch, I've been getting slower internet even though Plusnet says it's basically the same one. They're throttling my force9 connection. Bastards.
