Well, having emotions, I understand it's impossible not to care if someone you know and love dies, or, luckily it's never happened to anyone I know, murdered. But I do realize that shit like that does happen, and eventually I would move on, but the only reason that would take time to move on from that event, is it was close to home. This was local news at best, and also why talk about murder? Noone died in this "news" story

What's funny about a helpless child being trapped a freezer and getting injured in the process? You're focusing on, "hurr durr she's an idiot for making a baby with this guy," instead of the bigger picture here. A life was nearly lost because of the carelessness and idiocy of a father. That's good to hear as its horrible having someone close to you die. As for the murder, I'm merely using it as an example of crime happening. Also, as explained before the public like to be kept up to date with the news that happens around the world and so incidents like this are reporting because it shows an example of how cruel someone can be but it is obvious that all these types of crimes can never be stopped.
