Had no idea that he was a gamer. Nice of Blizzard to do this, to say the least.
He was quite a bit into Legend of Zelda, going so far as to name his daughter after princess Zelda.
Had no idea that he was a gamer. Nice of Blizzard to do this, to say the least.
He named his daughter Zelda I think shit
A reference by Blizzard for Michel Martin Koiter, one of Blizzard's artists who passed away.
Why is the sound so low on that video, I can hardly hear anything.
He was quite a bit into Legend of Zelda,
And also, Half Life as well don't forget that.
Why is the sound so low on that video, I can hardly hear anything.
Good question. I ended up just turning up Chrome's volume. There's most likely multiple uploads of that scene.
Can't wait to see the npc.
Reminds me of a guy named Michael that was immortalized in Borderlands 2 as a guy that gives you free leveled blue loot. As well as a cute eulogy by Claptrap.

And also, Half Life as well don't forget that.
He was? Now that I didn't know.
He was? Now that I didn't know.
Just look it up his name under Wikipedia and you'll see.
Aren't there actual funerals in WoW sometimes?
I heard somewhere that they had like an official funeral procession in Stormwind once
And funeral raids too Ignore the music, it was a rule back in classic/tbc if you made a video with PVP in it you had to use some metal or emo music with screaming.
people actually listen to this noise and enjoy it?
people actually listen to this noise and enjoy it?
The mid 2000s were dark dark times indeed.
Crusader Bridenbrad
Wow, didn't know that one. And part of a great (and tragic) quest line as well.
Wow, didn't know that one. And part of a great (and tragic) quest line as well.
IIRC he was the brother of one of Wrath's devs, and was a big fan of the game. Tabea in Dalaran is a memorial to a woman murdered nearby Blizzard's HQ while walking her dog.
There's not going to be a single memorial to Robin Williams, dead celebrities don't have an allocated number of memorials, you know.
Well, you never know. There is a Freddie Mercury statue in Montreux, Switzerland, overlooking Lake Geneva. [t]http://static.panoramio.com/photos/large/2403505.jpg[/t] (Both photos are the same lake, different locations.) [t]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/12/Freddy_Mercury_Statue_Montreux.jpg[/t] Robin Williams is definitely up in the same tier of legend as Freddie Mercury and I'll fight anyone who wants to argue. [sp]fite me in rl bich[/sp] Music trivia if anyone doesn't know: Freddie's statue is in front of the Montreux Casino. Next to it is a statue commemorating Deep Purple and their song Smoke On The Water. The band was in Montreux and had planned to record their album Machine Head in the casino. However, the casino burned down before they could start after a crazy motherfucker of a fan at a Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention concert took out a flare gun and fired into the rattan rafters. The song is about this incident.
Robin Williams will never play half life 3/ep3.
-snip actually second thought nvm-
Robin Williams will never cure cancer, or solve Riemann's Hypothesis, or meet me. R.I.P, Robin Williams, dead at 63.
people actually listen to this noise and enjoy it?
Did you forget the early 2000s when nu metal was the in thing. Like over 50% of wow/runescape pvp videos have music by disturbed or linken park in them.
And funeral raids too Ignore the music, it was a rule back in classic/tbc if you made a video with PVP in it you had to use some metal or emo music with screaming.
Blast from the past, I used to think this was the funniest thing to happen in WoW ever back in the day. Besides the time that giant hell demon was kited to stormvale or whatever it's called and murdered everyone.

Like over 50% of wow/runescape pvp videos have music by disturbed or linken park in them.
2005 was a dark dark time. Bush was president, we were in the middle of the war in the Middle East, and worst of all. People actually thought Carlos Mencia was funny.
People actually thought Carlos Mencia was funny.
Pretty sure nobody ever actually thought Carlos Mencia was funny.
He was? Now that I didn't know.
Here's interview from 2 years ago I found where he praise Valve's stance towards modding, and that Day Of Defeat was his favourite mod.
I just think it's stupid. Honor him in some other way that's physical. [editline]12th August 2014[/editline] I'm not on a bandwagon. it's called an opinion
You've not really explained why it's stupid. It doesn't matter how you honor someone, just as long as you do.
Pretty sure nobody ever actually thought Carlos Mencia was funny.
Indeed. [sp]I did when I was a pre-teen. I thought it was pee your pants funny. I was a dumb kid :v[/sp]
Indeed. [sp]I did when I was a pre-teen. I thought it was pee your pants funny. I was a dumb kid :v[/sp]
It's okay, the pre-teen years don't count ;)
I just think it's stupid. Honor him in some other way that's physical.
he will undoubtedly have physical memorials in his honour, now, why is it bad that he is remembered in other ways?
2005 was a dark dark time. Bush was president, we were in the middle of the war in the Middle East, and worst of all. People actually thought Carlos Mencia was funny.
We'd just lost Chappelle. We needed a man to fill the timeslot missing in our hearts...
