No, because I prayed the Lord for a miracle, and here it is! It happened!
Jesus is awesome
I read this as BigBolt for some reason. :geno:

Yeah, never mind that asshole Shakespeare who nearly invented half of the language today, not like language was a cultural development or anything, oh and never mind the fact that art is an excellent way to convey messages while simultaneously developing cognitive skills.
Science is much more important than art, but it IS required.
Oh I forgot the Mona Lisa put a man on the moon, saved thousands of lives, and even let you communicate with me
My bad

hey culture is equally important if the entire world just drops culture then we'll just have a futuristic earth where the goverment controls everything or something, oh god now i'm babbling again :smith:
well actually its much more likely for science to be applied to our society and government if that would happen and its likely we would create something that looks like a utopia from our time period.
of course yes, creativity and arts are very important, but they are also sciences in themselves. the problem right now is the cultural stigma that science is "cold" preventing science to be used to develop better human systems, and by that i mean our society as a whole. i guess im rambling, but im trying to say that a culture that prioritizes science is still a culture. cultures can be negative and positive.
I'm still at college with the people I grew up with, and I'm still in touch with them. The ones who have a more artistic side have either dropped out or get poor grades whereas the guys who didn't go to art club or take up sewing class are gaining straight As
That's just my observation but it makes a clear enough point to me
That's a pretty poor observation on your part.

the guy who painted it made quite a bit though didnt he
Humans are creative, everyone wants to create
Some will go on to make (useless to me) paintings, some will go on to design cases for the next mobile phone, some will use the creativity to create the next best OS
But how many people do you know who like to program? (In the real world, not on here)
Stop being a douche. Art is just as important to humanity's development and your development as science is. Funnily enough, much of how you think comes from abstract things (the arts; literature, paintings, etc...).

Yeah and I know people who go to theatre school and received top grades in normal school taking classes like biology and physics. For someone who claims to support science, you seem to use very little in the way of observation and logic.
Culture is important, maybe not nearly as important as decent scientific progress but it's not something to be completely ignored or defunded.
if only, we barely understand the human brain and computational power is fairly limited for such simulations.
and yet today it was revealed a japanese pop artist is CGI, where it is almost impossible to see a difference between reality and virtuel. I would never say never.
JUST PRAY TO OUT LORD JESUS AND THIS WILL WORK ITSELF OUT !!! THIS IS EVIL !
JUST PRAY TO OUT LORD JESUS AND THIS WILL WORK ITSELF OUT !!! THIS IS EVIL !
Work itself out? It's not like there's anything messy going on that needs working out.
We already worked out that it's a cgi, what more is there to work out?
One step closer to H+
Another win for science :science:
inb4 some luddites say this is unnatural and augmentation is wrong
I miss arguing about transhumanism, I loved seeing all the dumb "it's not natural!" view points from some people.

Saying "it's not natural" on the internet is so ironic it's funny.
Peh, look at all you losers with your singlular bio-bolts.

Redundancy, mufuggas.
This is good news. I have a cousin who can't use her legs. This is sometimes why science is awesome. Blowing shit up(mythbusters) or help the paralyzed walk again(this implant).
