There are just as many complete idiots in european countries, the difference is those idiots don't all unite themselves to a political party the way US rednecks do.
My ban got lifted. Hooah. Time to roll out more rage-inciting comments.
we have the same political views, same avatar subject relating to bjork, and the same hatred of squash? who are you!?
We also both use windows and chrome.
this is so stupid although some people do have a legitimate point that there are unfair payroll practices in the white house, it's still wrong for these government agencies in texas to practice the same inequity "hurr hurr they'RE OFFENDING MY TEXAN PRIDE FUK OBAMMY!!!LOCKD ND LODED!!!"
"OBONZOS A QUACK DONT LOOK BACK" Why do they have to always say the lamest and at times the creepiest stuff ever? They're either saying lame things like quoted above or they're circle jerking about the "good ol' days" and how they're going to shoot/lynch/etc stuff to take america back.

"Conditions resemble the events prior to Texas declaring its independence from Mexico are now justification for a second independence." :suicide:
Can we just make texas secede now? like, can we just give them up to mexico?
"Conditions resemble the events prior to Texas declaring its independence from Mexico are now justification for a second independence." :suicide:
It's cute how Texans think they can secede. Last time people tried that it resulted in a Civil War.
It's cute how Texans think they can secede. Last time people tried that it resulted in a Civil War.
wait.. someone made a comment about that too.. it goes something along the lines of "Texas is the only state that has the ability to leave the union, its in their constitution"
wait.. someone made a comment about that too.. it goes something along the lines of "Texas is the only state that has the ability to leave the union, its in their constitution"
It's asinine. "The United States Supreme Court ruled unilateral secession unconstitutional while commenting that revolution or consent of the states could lead to a successful secession."
It's asinine. "The United States Supreme Court ruled unilateral secession unconstitutional while commenting that revolution or consent of the states could lead to a successful secession."
Paradoxically that only adds more motive for Texas secessionists to want to secede. [editline]14th July 2012[/editline]
Funny, the good old days involved much more regulation and taxes that would have them scream socialism.
I think by "good old days" they mean either the time of the Articles of Confederation (not likely), the time of the Confederacy (somewhat likely), or the time immediately after Texas became independent from Mexico (very likely). We know how swimmingly both of those first two turned out  and during the third the Republic of Texas managed to attempt to wage genocidal war against the Comanche (failing and getting pillaged in return), make a claim over twice as much land as it actually governed, and nearly have a civil war within itself.
Paradoxically that only adds more motive for Texas secessionists to want to secede.
good riddance. let them fail as a country with their backwards ass policies while the rest of the US recovers from the shit their [s]royal screwup[/s] President caused
That's how it is. The president always gets the blame. When in reality I highly doubt the president knows half the shit that's really going on throughout the whole country and all its administrations and departments. There's just no way the head executive can possibly know and have a part in everything the country does. That goes for all presidents. That's the reason I honestly don't care who becomes the president because it's the rest of the system that's the real problem.
That sounds like something a fascistic communist would say
Can we just make texas secede now?
Dunno about the latter option, but we'd have to deal with a refugee crisis as all the the peeps the secessionists disapprove of try to flee en-mass.
Can we just make texas secede now? like, can we just give them up to mexico?
Oh that's a great idea. Let's give them our second biggest state that was hardly effected by the economic downturn! Yeah, that'll show those rednecks!
Oh that's a great idea. Let's give them our second biggest state that was hardly effected by the economic downturn! Yeah, that'll show those rednecks!
They want to be their own country anyway. Why should we let Texas drag us down with them? :v:

I could be wrong, but that was one of the better periods in American history as we were economically superior to almost every other country and were making countless innovations.
though socially it was probably one of the worst times in american history god damn niggers god damn communists god damn faggots god damn womens' rights now lets pretend that we didn't say what we did above and act like a generic 1950's sitcom family!
Uh, are the Republicans saying anything different now?
god damn new toaster oven fucking thing
Uh, are the Republicans saying anything different now?
It depends on the part of the country. Republicans hate communists and homosexuals, they "like" women's rights so they can use that excuse against Muslims, and unless you're in the South, there's little racism.
Uh, are the Republicans saying anything different now?
Hating on black people and other racial minorities -Some of them Hating on leftists in general - check Hating on homosexuals - check Hating on women's rights - check

You'd think constructing laws around liberty and our constitution would be simple enough but I guess not.

Never actually get into office.
That's why we have people like me. Idealist libertarians. Who... Never actually get into office.
Yes, because lack of regulation would have worked so well when the amount of slaves was rising in the United States until its ban, and black people still retained no rights well into the 20th century until laws were put in place to act against that sort of behavior. Religious institutions (and some private schools) were the only places offering schooling until public education became readily available. Actually, we're moving more towards libertarians with the Tea Party, claiming we shouldn't increase tax rates at all, no matter how much of a burden we're in, and that any form of governmental agency is a burden on the poor. You see, I was a Libertarian for a while, then researched into these things, and found out that the only way Libertarianism holds its own against the evidence is if you look at it in a completely biased way.
That's why we have people like me. Idealist libertarians. Who... Never actually get into office.
I think Libertarians are pretty fucked up too in plenty of ways, they just have a little less theism involved.
