• Grab for Attention or Legitimate Story line? Glee depicts School Shooting.

I hate to defend Glee, but if drama shows had to wait until there was at least four months since the last school shooting, they would never be able to do such an episode, ever. There's a school shooting pretty much every month, often times even more frequently in this country.
"Start tweeting?" Did he seriously said that to his students? Why not call, you know, 911?
911 probably doesn't do product placements.
Isn't this stuff written and produces like 6 months before they're released? At least most shows I know are like that.
is it just me or would this video inspire more shooters?
I watched this episode and it was a dumb cunt gym teacher dropping her gun. I'm not gonna explain how I began watching it because no one will believe me.
"Start tweeting?" Did he seriously said that to his students? Why not call, you know, 911?
Chances are that a lot of people are already calling 911, and since noone in the room has been injured or anything there's no reason to add more strain to something that's probably being strained already. That said I would have one person calling, just in case.
Oh fuck Glee, they're always trying to cram in the most topical controversial topics and end up ridiculing whatever they are trying to portray. Come on, why would you tell people to tweet about what's happening? Might as well tell people to Instagram pictures of the room with #schoolshooter or update their Facebook status or something. Unrelated note but from what I've seen of the show, Glee has also set back the LGBTQ community back 10 years with their horribly stereotypical gay characters. In conclusion, fuck Glee. Edit: Down's syndrome? Really?
Watch the video, it doesn't depict a "school shooting", just a kid with down syndrome who brought a gun to school and it shot by accident. This can in no way inspire school shootings, and it's not a big deal at all
Lol they make it as controversial as fuck because they know people will watch it and talk about it, ergo the ratings will go up, fuck Glee and fuck the people who made it.
appeal to emotion fallacies errywher
glee is a hilarious trainwreck of a show
Tune in next week where they're going to have a drug addict transsexual neo-Nazi who gets an abortion

You guys remember that Static Shock episode about some kid bringing a gun to school? That handled the issue way more classily, I think, even for a kids show.
Really Glee? It's been less than 58 years since the May 4th, 1956 Maryland Park Junior High School shooting. So tasteless
the best part of this is that all of these fucking gun nuts were praising that british television show Utopia for BEING SO BRAVE THAT THEY'D SHOW A SHOOTING
Sounds like a last, desperate grab for viewers and attention by a show whose ratings decline every season and is looking at cancellation soon. Hardly the only people to try and capitalize on the tragedy for their own gain.
One of the things I hate about this show is the sterotypical gay characters.
Glee keeps jumping the shark so often it might aswell be an attraction for sea world.
One of the things I hate about this show is the sterotypical gay characters.
What i hate about this show is the stereotypical everything. It's like a parody.
Next episode they are going to start discussing gun laws in song.
Glee keeps jumping the shark so often it might aswell be an attraction for sea world.
That implies that at some point it wasn't complete trash. No, what Glee does is a complex series of aerial manoeuvres so that it can jump from the bad side, go over the shark and then land on the same side it started on.
the best part of this is that all of these fucking gun nuts were praising that british television show Utopia for BEING SO BRAVE THAT THEY'D SHOW A SHOOTING
as opposed to this, where they made it sound like a school shooting and they were like whoops! it was 3-4 accidental discharges in a row
I've always hated Glee when they just constantly bringing up LGBT issues. They're always trying to go for controversial shit. Sure its good but they don't HAVE TO BRING IT UP EVERY FUCKING TIME. Its just stupid. They end up sterotyping gay people.
Maybe if they depicted an actual shooting they could have had some good commentary on the issue. But nope, just a mentally challenged person fucking up! Let's all lol and get ice cream.

That whole scene was so slow and stupid. And to top it off it had absolutely no point whatsoever to make. It was literally just the producers and writers trying to fill a huge gap in airtime without any story to go with it. I guess it's in that sense that it's pretty funny.
