> confirmed for no gf
who are you quoting
I bet her family didn't see that coming.
damnit I can't decide whether to rate dumb because it's distasteful or winner/zing because it's clever
> confirmed for no gf
Why are you typing like this
damnit I can't decide whether to rate dumb because it's distasteful or winner/zing because it's clever
Not clever at all; dumbest joke ever. I used to make that same joke every day in high school when I couldn't think of an actually good one. Let alone how distasteful it is.
One of the only forms of relief came from masturbating for hours on end, something that Ms Molannen, a Lutheran, found as a point of shame. Though she had aspirations of working as a translator as she is fluent in French, German and Spanish, her condition meant that she had to take odd jobs, because she had to deal with the physical demands of PGAD. But, having to relieve herself almost constantly, she stopped working in 1999 and started spending most of the time in her bedroom with her vibrator.
how sad
That certainly sounds like a big test on keeping the will to live.
How I look at this condition has changed a bit from when I first heard of it. Before, it was the pretty unsurprising view of "Lol who would complain about that".
But then you think, having orgasm after orgasm daily, it loses meaning, it loses the value of pleasure, and it becomes a burden instead of a gift. It's just hard to see that because even under somewhat extreme circumstances, such as a person fucking for hours and hours, there can still be pleasure from it.
Is she purposefully enjoying it, or are women unable to control their vocal cords during arousal?
My former FWB were in no way able to control her vocal cords.
Did at any point she try drugs to solve it?
Not clever at all; dumbest joke ever. I used to make that same joke every day in high school when I couldn't think of an actually good one. Let alone how distasteful it is.
This time it's actually in the right context though.
This is extremely unfortunate.
I remember hearing about her several times in the past.
Since she was constantly physically aroused but not mentally aroused, doesn't that narrow it down to a neural error in her genitals and not her brain? Couldn't she have some sort of surgery to sever some of the neural connections in her genitals so she would at least stop feeling the arousal?

Apparently puns are one of the lowest forms of wit.
Anyway, at least she's found peace from it now.
No, puns are awesome in the right place, but a thread about suicide shouldn't include humour.
Must of been the most unintentionally-arousing suicide ever. God is cruel, if he exists.

nevermind
generally it's hard to imagine someone named Gretchen as good looking

At what point did posting "I'd love to have her as a girlfriend because she has an incredibly depressing condition that I think is totally cool." seem like a good idea?
I know you guys love to farm for funny ratings like it's the coolest thing ever but you need to realize you're making fun of a person who was driven to suicide.
Reminds me of this, aww yea

You're right. I should apologize.
Dude thats incredibly sad... I can't even begin to imagine the shit she went through.
Why do so many people treat this disorder as a joke? Imagine having an erection that never goes away; I bet you wouldn't last a day.
I'd kill myself at 25 hours, just to spite you.
I know a person who used to have priapism. The only way they could fix it was to severely medicate him, and that pretty much ruined his livelihood. He eventually underwent a partial penectomy and it turned out to be a permanent fix.
I cant even begin to image how hard it must be to have that condition FOR A FULL FLIPPING DECADE.
Why the fuck couldn't she get filed as disabled?
My friend has one leg and because he has worked he is no longer "disabled". I guess you need at least two missing limbs in the US.

sounds expensive. who's going to pay for that? the jobs she can't hold down? the disability she was denied?
My friend has one leg and because he has worked he is no longer "disabled". I guess you need at least two missing limbs in the US.
That's why in the UK they use the phrase 'not fit for work' instead of disabled when talking about working, someone with one leg would be considered fit for work here too as he's done it before

That terminology is better; it's straight to the point. Instead of leaving people guessing whether disabled means unfit for work in their own case, they get the info straight up.
She didn't orgasm because of the book, she had a vibrator
Oh...well that explains it then...
shit son... the most I've ever been able to manage is, umm, 30 days, probably less
4 days here!
Why do so many people treat this disorder as a joke? Imagine having an erection that never goes away; I bet you wouldn't last a day.
Ouch, I can just imagine how much that would hurt. -it already gets kinda painful after a good long morning wood.
I never knew such a condition existed until today.
