Something i don't think anyone here is mentioned, is this will probably lead to a drop in the amount of people drinking.
Something i don't think anyone here is mentioned, is this will probably lead to a drop in the amount of people drinking.
Smoking too, I had a friend who was starting to smoke, and then just stopped, smoked weed for a few months, and now doesn't do the first one, and does the second one every few weeks.
way to edit my post, im tired not stupid
No shut up
I don't see how getting smoke in your lungs can not be harmful. But I do think that people should be able to make their own decisions to do whatever they want to their bodies. The government shouldn't be able to say what people can't do to themselves, as long as it doesn't harm other people. I say legalize pot (and other substances) but increase the punishment for actually doing something illegal while under the influence (whatever that may be) of said substances.
Hopefully it fails and that shit is banned from ever being used legally.
me too
I say legalize it for adults and tax the hell out of it. Problem solved.
You would seriously migrate to another country JUST to smoke weed? :wtc:
Go to Amsterdam and take a look around. Not a Dutch in site.
Hopefully it fails and that shit is banned from ever being used legally.
The day I realized either everyone in Weed related threads are trolls or just dumb
Ah weed! I think it should be legal. I just can't stand seeing people get caught in the gears of "justice" over weed. Don't get me wrong, it IS bad for you on many levels. But then again, so are so many other things. I have a friend that is in jail, for a very long time, from weed. Smoked weed while on probation and failed a piss test. He got the third strike and now he's locked away for good. Real shame.
Cocaine isn't addictive... -_-... I've had members of my family take it ,and get off it like it was nothing.
Uhhhhh do what?!??! :psyduck:

I'd suggest legalizing it for the tax reasons. But since it'll still be illegal for minors I don't think it'll lower the pot usage in people under 21. It'll make it easier to get, yes, and it may decrease use in people over 21, but like that alcohol example, pot usage rates will still be fairly high in teens because its still illegal to an extent. But there's positives and negatives to everything natural. You can't say marijuana is harmless and you also can't say it'll kill you in one second flat. Also, to the people saying all pot heads are dumb, pretty much 1/3 of the smart people in my school smoke it, even during school weeks, and they get better grades than me. Hell, more brother smokes it and he's in Harvard. I personally don't smoke it, but I don't really care if my friends do since they're not going to be affecting me and I'm not going to be around when they light up. I'm not saying there's a correlation between smoking and the intelligence of people, but you can't just generalize a group by the few ones you see who never go to class and stuff.
Kinda deserved it then don't you think?
He's doing life for smoking a doobie... Fair? No, not really.
He's doing life for smoking a doobie... Fair? No, not really.
Deserved it? Hell no. Stupid as Hell? Hell yes.
He's doing life for smoking a doobie... Fair? No, not really.
...Doing life? The fuck kind of sentence is that I was thinking he deserved a like, 2 year sentence or maybe 5 for violating probation, but life? Fuck that
Probation violation is a felony, and that made his third. Three strikes and you're out. Dumb, yes. But he really was a good kid and to see him locked away forever is very sad. Over weed no less...
:/ poor guy...should have stopped doing it if he knew he could get life imprisonment...
