Once thats done, switch the economy to a war based one.

In the mean time, play the mediator between Iran and Saudi Arabia. Have them work together despite differences. If this doesn't happen, soon as Western Nations "picks a side" in this couple century old religious schism of a war, thats the ruins for everyone.

This isn't the start of something terrible, it's, for the lack of a better word, a "highlight" of decades of war against terrorism and western powers meddling in certain nations of the Middle East.

They won't stop entirely, kind of like how the nazis never truly stopped, but you can limit their power and resources. We currently have terrorists with the resources of an entire state behind them, that really needs to end because it'll only get worse if you leave it.
