anyone know if there's anything i can do to help i know there isn't but i still want to do something?
Is it coincidence that they carried out the attack on friday the 13th?
Doubt it, they probably planned it that way
The biggest reason this happened is because of the fact that we, as the free world, have not done enough to combat terrorism. Had we taken steps to fight terrorist groups, this probably wouldn't happen in the first place. However, because of the fact that we have to be politically correct is ruining these efforts.
You should combat terrorism, like you should treat the symptoms of an illness. But while you have an illness, you should also take steps to treat the origin of the illness. In other words, combat terrorism while preventing it from happening again - and if you want to do that, you have to examine what causes terrorism. Terrorism is not the normal state of a human, it takes an abnormal situation to create a terrorist.
Is it coincidence that they carried out the attack on friday the 13th?
Yes. It be dumb to think otherwise to be quite honest
the news about the refuge camp fires have been confirmed false and old
Called it. Fucking called it already. [T]http://i.imgur.com/ojnJrsi.png[/t]
Is that a fucking minion
Is there any way to help out if you're overseas? I don't want to just type a hashtag and go on with my day. This attack is just sickening.
Firstly to Bugga12 I want to say to you I am sorry for your loss and if you need anything in terms of games or other stuff I will give it to you as a gift. Secondly to the people of Facepunch I say that the people who did this will be hunted down and if they are still alive I hope they rotin a prison cell for the rest of time. These terrorists will not make the country turn on its self and I say to anyone that is from France that I stand with you in solidarity and that in this time to mourn your countrymen and remember that these terrorists are weak and patheic. I stand with you for liberate and honor. Finally I do think that this attack will have repercussions on the refugee crisis that is happening in the EU. Also there will be changes to foreign policy on a national and EU level due to the ferocity of these attacks. The question I think will be asked is who these people are and what about national security?
the news about the refuge camp fires have been confirmed false and old
Trolling?
Jesus, this girl being interviewed on BBC live stream is giggling as she describes it.
Yeah, it was a bit weird, but I'm pretty sure she just isn't equipped to process this right now.
Jesus, this girl being interviewed on BBC live stream is giggling as she describes it.
She is obviously in shock and don't know how to handle it. Just like how some people react similarly when hearing about a loved ones death.
Jesus, this girl being interviewed on BBC live stream is giggling as she describes it.
Coping mechanism?

Only days adter Armistice Day as well, holy shit. My thoughts to all the victims, and to France.
anyone know if there's anything i can do to help i know there isn't but i still want to do something?
being in the US i guess you could slacktively retweet some stuff or launch icbms
Is it coincidence that they carried out the attack on friday the 13th?
It could be, but its not like terrorists are culturally unaware of the significance of black friday in the west, and probably know the media will latch onto it as a title.
Jesus, this girl being interviewed on BBC live stream is giggling as she describes it.
It's actually not that uncommon of a phenomenon. Think of it like nervous laughter
Jesus, this girl being interviewed on BBC live stream is giggling as she describes it.
I'm about 120% certain it's a nervous reaction and not an expression of joy.
Jesus, this girl being interviewed on BBC live stream is giggling as she describes it.
That's actually what happens when you try to communicate moments after walking out of a life-threatening situation alive. It's quite normal when you're still in shock.
Jesus, this girl being interviewed on BBC live stream is giggling as she describes it.
uh yeah i'd be pretty fucking hysterical too
I'm not sure if this is the right thing to say or anything, but whenever my dad and I discuss radical Islam the topic of some sort of Reformation needs to happen. The way Islam is now just fuels the hate between the sects and it is being used to conduct these horrible incidents. I'm not saying that it would help at all but if the radical theology of the religion is the problem then something needs to be done to fix that. We can't do it by bombing or invading the countries, we tried that and it didn't work so the real solution might be found working on the theology/radicalism
Is that a fucking minion
Who gives a fuck about the minion, there's something important going on.
Jesus, this girl being interviewed on BBC live stream is giggling as she describes it.
if i witnessed it i would be giggling and screaming and crying and clawing my own eyes out so she's handling it pretty well
I'm going to bet you $10 that at least a couple of the gunmen turn out to be French locals (who have lived there since they were born), but Muslims of course. You can make justifications all you want for them becoming extremists, but the problem is the not only the immigrants, but the local Muslim population that seem to have an ever growing extremist view.
Yeah what I'm saying applies to locals more than anyone. You live in a small, minority local community and you're heaped on by everyone, including the fucking Government, and none of them want you to be there. Hell, you live in Australia. You've seen the way the Abbott Government treated local Muslim communities. Why do you think people turn to extremism? Even considering that, there is no evidence of an ever growing extremist view in local Muslim communities except your own fear and anger trying to justify prejudice.
I'm about 120% certain it's a nervous reaction and not an expression of joy.
I know this, its just oddly eerie. I cannot imagine what it would be like to have your home sit <100ft from this.

The French are a strong people. They'll deal with this tragedy as they have tragedies in the past. Stay safe all those in France tonight.
This just highlights how worried we should be; with the level of coordination in the attacks being so high that they accomplished what they did in little over 3 fucking hours, to absolutely nobody's expectation, France won't be the only one to be attacked like this so suddenly... eyes open, ISIS knows that what they're currently doing is effective, they won't stop here.
Yes. It be dumb to think otherwise to be quite honest
Well im not sure, maybe they intentionally planned the attack on friday the 13th because as we all know friday the 13 (Black Friday) is considered an unlucky day in Western superstition to maximize the terror effect.
Is it over?
