Oh we can kill them, they'll just recruit more to replace em.

You can't really truly kill an idea.
[del]god it's disgusting to see people trying to push their agendas so quickly

don't quote this, it's old
The last time we had a declaration of war the U.S. was in the middle of the Great Depression. I'm pretty sure budget isn't that big of a concern for the U.S. if we ever declare full fledged war again.
Trouble is, we're coming out of the tail end of the longest war in our history.

Wait until politicians hijack the support movements that will come out of this.

Wow, how nice that you cut the date out.
He tweeted that in fucking Jan. 2015
Trouble is, we're coming out of the tail end of the longest war in our history.
Conflict, not war. If we were to enter a congressional approved war then it would be an entirely different ballgame.

I didn't take it I just found it right now and assumed it got removed when I tried looking for the original tweet

Plenty of other politicians have already made this a gun debate.
Update:There 5 are confirmed dead terrorists and law enforcement units are starting a city-wide manhunt for additional terrorists.Obama is going to make a reaction about the events and security is being reinforced in Washington DC and NYC.
Wow, how nice that you cut the date out.

Well it's still dumb.
Why are you surprised? I have no doubt the French people are fucking sick of this shit.
Maybe the first time it happened in a year, you might have a valid point.
The second time, well it's certainly concerning.
But the third and largest attack of the year, maybe these people of "reason" are actually wrong?
Except they're not wrong.
By all means shit on ISIS all you want, they're the thing to hate, the only thing to blame for this, but people will blame more than just ISIS and that's the thing, none of this is justification to throw reason out the window and blame anything else other than the actual culprit behind this attack.
Blaming Muslims won't hurt ISIS, attacking refugees won't hurt ISIS, there is no reason in hating anyone but them.
So if we can't win against strong ideals, how was Imperial Japan and Nazi Germany defeated? Both had fanatics willing to die for the cause, and kill for their ideals. The Imperialist Japanese were just as willing to die for their cause and kill as many as they could as ISIS suicide bombers today. Both countries do not have raging domestic terror problems, and function fantastically in modern society. Did it take the threat of true destruction to get the ideals removed? The masses are subject to the opinions of the leaders, and the leaders, both political and religious can change the tune of the population if they really had a motivation to do so, as was seen with Japan and Germany.

**stupid trump tweet**
Seriously take that shit down. It's irrelevant and in horrible taste right now.
Update:There 5 are confirmed dead terrorists and law enforcement units are starting a city-wide manhunt for additional terrorists.
I hope at the least there are no Law enforcement casualties from all this.
Well it's still dumb.
Yea its hella dumb but digging it out and trying to push it as something he said regarding todays attacks for political points is fucking disgusting and childish.
Please tell me this is a shopped image. PLEASE. There's no way he's this fucking stupid
It's old - in reference to the Charlie Hedbo shooting
This is exactly what happened at Columbine, for one popular reference. Police stood fifteen feet from the open door of the library while the shooters pumped round after round into the students hiding under desks inside.
Not only CAN it happen here, it has.
except because of that and more recent shootings, the police rules of engagement have changed completely and most officers now are trained to be first responders to an active shooter with training. Prime example was my school being shut down within minutes after they got a tip that there was a gun at school. Police, let alone swat don't fuck around when there are active shooters on the loose.
I hope at the least there are no Law enforcement casualties from all this.
...Unfortunately there already has been a few.

Well I'm off to sleep now. Tomorrow is going to be one shitty day for a lot of people.

Obama did the same thing with the Arkansas shooting to push his legislation, plus your country is completely different from the US where Trump is from, so is France, it's not an agenda it's keeping freedoms that responsible Americans should be able to express, your null input is completely unneeded, even though trump is retarded for doing it, every fucking politician does this extremely similar sick shit. Ah I just read back a bit, I guess his comment was old.
Anyways, on rail, it does show the potential of how easy it is to get guns in that part of the world if you are truly motivated to a cause, even if your soldiers are a bunch of fucking sheepish goons, any criminal can still get stockpiles easily. It seems like France has been an easy target for all of history for any criminal activity including car-jacking, muggings, and really anything because everyone is so defenseless.
My prayers go out to those killed and those in a terrifying situation, I hope their spirits stay strong, I fret the aftermath of this all.
Yea its hella dumb but digging it out and trying to push it as something he said regarding todays attacks for political points is fucking disgusting and childish.
Yeah for whoever shared it in the first place. I just took the image at face value and thought it was something he said right now. Not like I've got a folder of dumb trump tweets ready to post at any moment

Because we nuked two cities and Germany was all but eradicated.
If the future attacks on Rome, London, Washington etc. are true this may be the worst terrorist attack since 9/11. Too soon to tell though.
My condolences to Parisians, the French people, Europe and basically the entire world as a whole.
-snip- i dunno
My cousin lives in Paris.
She's not replying to my messages or answers the phone.
I am worried as fuck.
apparently 4 police officers died storming the theatre. That's 4 people who woke up to a normal workday , only to see things take a turn for the worse and never to return home again. Well, ofcourse that's also true for any of the 160 civilians who died a sudden death today.
