Don't know how credible this source is, but a Twitter account by the name of "News This Second" is saying "Reports of "screams and gunfire" coming from inside the #ParisConcertHall."
My sister's friend was at the concert hall and managed to get out safely. Another is at a bar in Paris. Both are alright so thank fuck but it's scary
This is horrifying.
If you stay long enough they'll give up eventually when they realise it's a fight they can't win and the people will get tired. The problem is the US left while the fires were still hot.
You can't intimidate someone who isn't afraid of death, and who doesn't care about the lives of their fellows.
We were able to scare Japan into surrender because they actually cared about whether or not their homeland was annihilated. These people don't.

4K followers? Yeah, I don't buy it
CNN Interviewing someone who escaped the theater. He said they walked in and started shooting. A lot of people got out. He said as he escaped he noticed at least 25 people laying on the floor shot.

It's not exactly the same, but they won't fight forever, eventually public opinion will turn on them after a while, particularly if you do a better job of winning the hearts and minds. It just requires some dedication and finesse.
-snip, ignore-
Al-Baghdadi isn't dead yet, so we don't even know if that would hold any water. So far, his second-in-command and thirds-in-command have been killed multiple times, and I bet it would be harder to for them replace their leader when the sick fuck finally gets dropped a heavy enough bomb down his inbred face. Hell, I would applaud it if they just nuke the bastard off the face of the Earth, as long he stays fucking dead instead of getting wounded again.
A nuke would kill countless innocent people. Would you be willing to commit genocide just for a chance at stopping these attacks, even if all historical evidence suggests it would only make them worse?
Quick. Someone check for dancing Jews in a van with coincidental symbolism of relation to this event.
You are a really horrible person for acting like this in times like these.
-misunderstanding-
Did not say right-wing, they are a MUCH smaller issue to me compared to extremists and other individuals who seek to wipe an entire community of people because of their religion/culture.
Far-right is different from Right-wing.
Hollande has said they knew who the terrorists were.
Seems the terrorists knew they were coming after them and made the dash for it before falling.
Fuck. Great.
Where on earth are the NSA and GCHQ at times like this? Isn't stopping exactly this kind of thing from happening part of their job description?
The reality is likely for every actual terrorist attack that happens, there are hundreds of others thwarted by the NSA (even if they are small time attacks compared to something like this). They can't stop them all.

Education won't work and it will make the problem worse. Finesse is something the West is no longer capable of. Also look up The Crusades. That lasted a loooong time.

Yes you can.
Torture and humiliation.
Perhaps something like forced sodomy might make those fuckers think twice next time.

How on Earth would education make things worse?

can we not

I've always supported the idea of physically torturing terrorists. Not being afraid of death won't save them. But you know, human rights etc etc.
seek help
[B][I]they now have reports the hostages in the concert theater were all shot one by one....per FOX....this is not yet confirmed
@JuliaDavisNews: UPDATE: Bataclan hostages communicate on social media, report being slaughtered "one by one." #Paris
CNN reporting they are killing the hostages one by one!
Hollande just declared a NATIONAL STATE OF EMERGENCY...

2001 re run again?
Fuck this gives me chills

That doesn't stop them. This is horrific and terrible but look at how successful that was after 9/11? It's just got worse.

Explain reports stating the NSA is barely connected to thwarting attacks.
I'm fucking sickened right now. Can't even sleep.

If public opinion hasn't turned on them yet, I doubt it ever will.
It's easy to say "we just need to do it better and for longer" but that shit doesn't actually matter. It doesn't matter how good you are at fighting or how long you do it for, the problem has never been that we aren't good enough.
You might as well be trying to cure cancer with leeches. It doesn't matter how many leeches you use or how long you apply them for, they do nothing to address the problem.
Yes you can.

People like you will doom us to more of these attacks by giving them the attention they strive for.
the explosion was the first suicide bomb in France.
