If that was the case, it would have happened already last solar eclipse, or last nearby asteroid.

This is going to be hilarious when the stupid folk picks this up and everyone panics in the social media. Then news sources get interested, and after a week or so this parade of hysteria gets de-punked. Only the tinfoil hats remains paranoid, claiming that world has already ended and that this reality is just a illusion when we really are ghosts roaming dead world

People have had major arguments caused by screen caps of Twitter, when no tweet exists. In one I saw the account didn't even exist.. I wonder if the worlds goverments would even tell us if the world was going to end. Imagine the last couple of days before doomsday. It wouldn`t be pretty.
