Have a burger on break, smoke a joint, knock back a few beers, report to the jail, "I had to work late".
It's like play jail or something
of course because they are just going to trust him
weekends and nights in jail?
when the fuck did jailtime become such a joke
To be fair, they didn't damage anything, didn't hurt anyone, and, since they're banned from making money off it, the only harm was to the local police budget, which they may be forced to pay back.
30 days plus a shitty hotel is pretty steep for, essentially, being douchebags.
They exploited the collective concern and panic of half a country for their own selfish gains. Fuck them.
what? i've never heard of this.
You very rarely see the lighter sentences in the news
I did not know those kind of sentence terms exist! How do you get off so easy?! I mean damn! That is amazing!
That's just so weird. Like Zeke129 said,
Because it was a hoax...
Not murder.
Well it could have been murder...
But it wasn't.
But it--
See how it fucks itself into a paradox?

But you watched it live on TV right? they should have charged PPV fees.
Shit, 4 years without being allowed to make profits from it.
Sure that's not too harsh?
owned
I wonder if the parents treat the kid like shit for letting the hoax slip on national TV. Poor guy :ohdear:
Serves them right, I wouldn't have been adverse to a more severe sentence though.
other than the fact your taking the parents away from a small boy.
other than the fact your taking the parents away from a small boy.
Just one parent, temporarily (the mother would be with him while dad is in jail). And I also believe that the dad should have gotten a harsher punishment. I'm not saying every child should be taken away from every parent that does something incredibly stupid, and the boy wasn't in any actual danger, but after watching the kid with the parents on TV after the kid slipped up and let out that they did it "for the show," with the kid throwing up and just generally looking uncomfortable being in the spotlight again, what GOOD parent would keep putting their kids through that?
And he probably threw up because the dad spent the previous night coaching him on what not to say over the air, or berating him, or just simply putting pressure on him to not slip up again.
Probably showed the Judge her balloons :q:
At first i didnt get it. But then i got it, and started laughing
Parents deserved it. When i saw the story, I thought to myself "They deserve jail time"
Only four years until he can profit? BS.
Profit off of what?
Get your balloon boy action figure. Make it say things like,"I thought you said it wasn't real." and "*Wrenching*."
I don't get it.
Why are they going to jail?
Why are people still talking about this fucking stupid hoax?
The balloon.
It popped on landing though.

I love you. :3
Anyways, let this be a lesson to us.. THE NEWS IS SERIOUS BUSINESS. Especially fox news. Without an unbiased news source that gives us the facts, who else can we trust besides self research and evidence?
