VIDEO: Man surrenders and complies amid arrest, out of nowhere an officer sprinting at him punts the

i know a lot of you here are qualified internet detectives, but i don't know why the fuck you're arguing over whether he was kicked or not. they lied in the report, thats what matters. that's what we know to be fact. why don't we discuss the facts?
its disgraceful that they'd feel the need to lie in a report, now this man who put so many lives at risk by drink driving is free without consequence.

The only thing about the police report is this:
"You're going to see where she says the driver immediately got out of his truck. He never gets out of his truck," Lee said.
Moments later, the trooper is seen pulling Payne out of the truck.
The report says Payne's face was scratched when he was pushed to the ground. Lee, however, believes the driver's injuries came from something else.
We have to different versions of events here, one from the defenses lawyer, the other from the police. Both of these only differ on two things: The cause of the injury, and what happened as he got out of the car.
The differences on him getting out of the car are confirmed via the video. He had to, contrary to the police report, be dragged out. This was a lie, but could be easily explained via laziness by the officer writing the report.
The difference on the cause of injury is what we are debating now. I think it does matter in determining the truth.
Miami, Oklahoma? What the fuck? Figures cops are assholes in towns with ditto'd names.
Let's defend drunk drivers until they kill a loved one. yay!
lets defend police brutality and their ability to hide their own incidents until we get hurt! Yaaaay!
this is what you said.
Why exactly are they ripping him out of the truck? Why not just ask him to get out like a normal stop?
That's a good question. I hear them say before they take him out to "keep your hands where I can see them", but I can't make out any instructions aside from that.
Damn these cops are dumb, all they had to do is yell stop resisting and they would have been in the clear.
Cops like this need to be fired and brought up on charges to set an example.

if you're going to be lazy in writing a report that reflects the events that lead to an arrest, something incredibly important in determining sentencing, then you deserve to be fired.
what a weak cop-out anyway. this wasn't due to "laziness" it was an outright fabrication to cover his ass. i don't know why you're so adamant to defend shitty police officers. do you not want cops to be truthful and act professionally?
Still really fucking pisses me off that apparently the worst you can get as a police officer is paid administrative leave
They have it better off than teachers who get tenure, at least teachers have to work a few years to get their job immunity (which is still stupid).
I mean yeah maybe not fire the officer but any other job doing something this "bad" would have you either fired or suspended without pay. In this case this officer basically gets a free paid vacation...
If it's not already a crime to file a false report then it should be.

I agree, they should have been reprimanded, but that specific bit actually worked against their case of him resisting. It's not really the issue here.

that is what i was talking about, thus why i said to shut the fuck up about the alleged kicking. one must always assume one is innocent when there is not enough evidence to prove otherwise, this includes the police.

What if some cunt decided to do this to you and you get suspeneded for a month while its investigated and your found innocent of it. Your out a months pay and the only thing you get back is lol sorry m8
Corrupt cops will never stop turning up.
As the saying goes, ACAB.

There are good cops, but the fact that these people even passed their psych exam proves the entire american police system should be remade from the ground up, pull out corruption at the roots etc.

That would be a valid excuse if there was not fucking video proof.
Was he even drunk? All I read is that he was suspected to driving under influence. And why didn´t they tell him to get out of the car with his hands up? Unnecessary brutality.

American cops use so much unnecessary force. The guy stopped, opened his door, and showed his hands. There's absolutely no goddamn need to yank him out and throw him on the pavement.
The guy clearly wasn't complying. He probably was DUI, but after what looks like the cop tripping into him, they dropped the charges to make it just go away.
People are scared of the idea of robotic cops, but honestly if our police force was programmed to be just, none of this shit would happen.

But what about when they start getting flashbacks of their wife trying to get in their non-robo-pants?
