Skill gained through education and like I said, education is not cheap and can drive people into debt.
hi public school is free
I was thinking of something to say until I realized that there is no point seeing as your logic makes no sense.
How does it make no sense?
What we should do is introduce a flat tax system.
Ah flat taxes... taking the same amount of money from the poor as the rich, leaving a tiny dent in a rich estate and taking a huge chunk out of a poor one.
It's like two retards fighting over what they think the answer to 2+2 is and one thinks it's 3 and the other thinks it's 5.
Ah flat taxes... taking the same amount of money from the poor as the rich, leaving a tiny dent in a rich estate and taking a huge chunk out of a poor one.
not the same amount of money, the same percent.
if you tell a billionaire and a pauper to give you 15% who is more effective
Effected* And does it fucking matter? Why are you busting a nut over money that after a 3rd generation, makes them spoiled fucking brats? [editline]11:05PM[/editline]
hi public school is free
Paid for by taxes.
How does it make no sense?
You basically said what I thought you would say. Unless you get lucky and become successful you will be like every other middle-lower class person working hard all their lives with no break in life while the rich get richer doing less and less.
That's not shit I don't want. Shit I don't want is stuff like useless stimulus packages that just throw us more into debt. and the war in Afghanistan.
I don't think a lot of us disagree with more efficient use of tax money.
Public universities cost tens of thousands of dollars per year.
take that up with universities. college shouldnt cost jack shit because it's pretty much required to get a job now a days.
take that up with universities. college shouldnt cost jack shit because it's pretty much required to get a job now a days.
And thats why it costs an arm and a leg. Hey, we shouldn't have to pay for food because its required to live, right?
You basically said what I thought you said. Unless you get lucky and become successful you will be like every other middle-lower class person working hard all their lives with no break in life while the rich get richer doing less and less.
No, I said that unless you're talented, unique, and have an education you won't make it anywhere.
not the same amount of money, the same percent.
It still puts a huge dent in the poor person's financial situation while not even effecting the rich person
And thats why it costs an arm and a leg. Hey, we shouldn't have to pay for food because its required to live, right?
food stamps bro [editline]08:08PM[/editline]
It still puts a huge dent in the poor person's financial situation while not even effecting the rich person
we're not saying like 60% tax rate for everyone.
Effected* And does it fucking matter? Why are you busting a nut over money that after a 3rd generation, makes them spoiled fucking brats? if they become spoiled brats that wont try to get a decent living then they will go nowhere in life. So what? [editline]11:05PM[/editline] Paid for by taxes. yea and?

Effected* And does it fucking matter? Why are you busting a nut over money that after a 3rd generation, makes them spoiled fucking brats? [editline]11:05PM[/editline] Paid for by taxes.
And this is why I support some taxes. A private sector for all education just wouldn't work well. I just wish our politicians had to balance the budget and not spend it all on private crap.
And there is some magical place where people are not self centered? How is wanting yourself to succeed self centered? :colbert: and thirdly, how is any other religion or nation any different? It's human nature to be that way.
According to the bible - Capitalism is a sin, a big sin. America praises capitalism yet adores christianity, now there is a double standard of hypocrisy if I ever seen one. But that's alright however, Jesus has been indoctrinated into the stock market.
No, they get an education and try their best to contribute. If they just suck ass then they get shit jobs. That's how capitalism works.
Or if they can't afford an education, or circumstances prevent them from attending classes, or if the schools in their neighborhood are worthless. Or if the economy goes to shit there are no jobs available in their field. The thing is, you may have an affluent family and it may be easy for you to tell people who don't to "deal with it," but between poor people and people who give a damn about poor people, there's more than enough of us voting to tax your shit and get ours. THAT'S how we deal with it.
Well it's impossible to not be selfish. Prove me wrong. :colbert:

It still puts a huge dent in the poor person's financial situation while not even effecting the rich person
not really.
And thats why it costs an arm and a leg. Hey, we shouldn't have to pay for food because its required to live, right?
Also holy shit why do books cost so much.

First, nice fuck up with the quote system! Second, then technically public education isn't fucking free. OR did you miss the part where it comes out of the people's money, because of taxes, that THEY PAY.
No, I said that unless you're talented, unique, and have an education you won't make it anywhere.

No, they get an education and try their best to contribute. If they just suck ass then they get shit jobs. That's how capitalism works. *Deal with it*
You pretty much said "if they don't get lucky being born into a family with money and get stuck with shitty jobs for the rest of their lives, oh well! deal with it"
the only people who shouldnt be taxed are people who it cost more to tax them then the taxes are even worth
Also holy shit why do books cost so much?
Again, because they know we need it...jackasses. They only last a semester.
First, nice fuck up with the quote system! Second, then technically public education isn't fucking free. OR did you miss the part where it comes out of the people's money, because of taxes, that THEY PAY.
Or that public universities charge tens of thousands of dollars in yearly tuition

THAT'S how we deal with it.
I'm fine with helping your living situation with our taxes, I just don't want it to get to the point where it's significantly taking away our money and making it difficult for us to live. How the fuck can you not afford free public education? and we have unemployment options for those who are affected by recession
First, nice fuck up with the quote system! Second, then technically public education isn't fucking free. OR did you miss the part where it comes out of the people's money, because of taxes, that THEY PAY.
i was responding to two different ideas. This has nothing to do with the argument.
Or that public universities charge tens of thousands of dollars in yearly tuition
I'm gonna have loans up the ass when I get outta Clarkson, its gonna fucking suck.
Again, because they know we need it...jackasses. They only last a semester.
Big books cost a lot to make
You pretty much said "if they don't get lucky being born into a family with money and get stuck with shitty jobs for the rest of their lives, oh well! deal with it"
By 'suck ass' I mean if they don't have any talent or skills that are needed by the market
