I'm reminded of Serenity... But seriously, the government putting mind-altering substances in drinking water? And we're ok with this?
Just drink the water already.
...just drink the Kool-Aid already. [editline]1st June 2011[/editline]
i call godwin on that his entire argument is invalid now
Except usually people aren't arguing that they are similar to Hitler. I guess Sobotnik is just rebellious, dude.
Honestly, it's not that bad. Haven't you people heard of fluoridated water, or iodized salt, or vitamin rich rice? It's meant to help to introduce nutrients to a diet without actually having to change the diet itself. It's a way for governments to keep it's people healthy in an age where you can breakfast, lunch and dine pizza. Or, well, more dramatically, where about 1 person in every 300 is a potential schizophrenic.
One of reasons i never went to America. I am very paranoid. About this. :tinfoil:

I can buy non-vitamin enriched rice. I can't change what's flowing through my taps. I'm not saying I would refuse to drink fluoridated water or lithium water, I just like freedom that comes behind the choice of being able to put whatever I damn well want in my body.

I thought it was considered a pretty dick move to give people a drug without their consent. It's like roofying someone except the roofy just makes them calmer. I don't care how beneficial this may be, I don't want my fucking water tasting less like water.
oxygen is a mind-altering substance. how come i haven't been given a choice of whether or not oxygen is in my air? COMMUNISM!
Pour water onto your laptop to power it.
