Chinese man sues wife for being ugly, wins lawsuit. - Polidicks

This is horrible. I was born with a facial disfigurement (a lumpy mass above my left eyebrow, kind of unappealing, but other than that, I'm handsome on my right side) and I got a girlfriend (a beautiful one, surprisingly enough) who loved me despite my major flaws. I can understand he might be angry about the one-child policy in China, and having his daughter be ugly, but he's an absolute cunt for suing her. At the end of the day, he's been married to her, so that clearly says he enjoys being with her and enjoys her company and personality, so why do looks even matter at the end of the day? Mature relationships reach a stage where it's not so much the looks that you you love any more, rather the personality that you grow to love. So yeah, the guy was a massive asshole for suing her. True, the woman should have let him know, but it's clear she [I]needed[/I] the reconstructive surgery. She had no jaw whatsoever, so plenty of dental problems for sure. And she clearly had a defect or something, as all her proportions are skewed. I feel bad for the woman. You can't decide [I]not[/I] to be born ugly. I sure as hell didn't want to be this way, and I completely understand why she underwent the surgery. The guy is shallow and callous and has most likely made the woman feel like utter shite again.

Chances are (if that picture in OP is her) she wouldn't be considered ugly by the man unless he is really picky about his women. This resulted in, according to the husband, a REALLY ugly baby that didn't look like the wife. So to clarify what this story is about, the husband sued the wife for being ugly in the past which has screwed over how their baby looks.

The man is an absolute dick for being mad that his only daughter is ugly. Parenthood goes beyond that, good parents love their children no matter what, whether they're ugly, disabled, mentally handicapped. This guy clearly hasn't got the maturity or mental capacity to be a good father, and I feel bad for both the wife and the daughter. The wife didn't get plastic surgery to please [I]him.[/I] She got plastic surgery to correct her own image, as it was most likely making her extremely depressed and upset. She got married to him after all the operations, which the man was unaware of. He's mad at both the wife, for being secretly ugly, and the child, for being ugly as a result. He's a scumbag.
