You haven't read any of the posts above have you? It is not about making Thompson relevant again, it is creating a "tense" documentary about a very successful game that is tied to Britain, which is all in an attempt to get young people interested in programming. Having some sort of drama or tension (in the form of Thompson's lawsuits) just makes the project more appealing for people. I'm still not sure how/why you would need permission to do a documentary though, there might be things we are not aware of.
I don't think it's a documentary. I mean it's got two huge actors playing two specific roles. A documentary doesn't usually call for something like that.
Jesus, Radcliffe is everywhere after the Harry Potter series finished.
Jesus, Radcliffe is everywhere after the Harry Potter series finished.
He's good at what he does, it's not that surprising. Although I wouldn't expect him in this role, I will admit.
Eh, you are making a documentary about the biggest game developing controversy and you don't ask for rights and shit? Get fucked BBC.
That's not what the lawsuit is about at all. The film is based on a book. The lawsuit is some weird fear that the BBC will use the Rockstar logo on promotional material and claim Rockstar were involved with the production. Which they aren't. It won't go anywhere. Where are people getting the idea that it's a documentary? It's not just one or two people that think this
He's good at what he does, it's not that surprising. Although I wouldn't expect him in this role, I will admit.
Meh. He's not that great. His acting in Horns was on par with most b-movie actors I've seen. Maybe it was just the film, but I'd say he's an average actor with above-average name recognition because of his roles in the Potter franchise.
Where are people getting the idea that it's a documentary? It's not just one or two people that think this
Apparently based on real world events = documentary. It doesn't.
Apparently based on real world events = documentary. It doesn't.
It does if they're 100% accurate. Like Pearl Harbor. Best documentary.
lol try and piss off the only good gaming company that came out of this country that's still standing, yeah you go bbc.
Uhh, just scoll up to the top of the page?
lol try and piss off the only good gaming company that came out of this country that's still standing, yeah you go bbc.
What about Criterion Games? They're not dead. And they're good.
