Yeah they probably would have a thirteen year old on a bulldozer if they could. :v: I just want to see that farmers actually get adequate protection from things like GTS, moreso with child harvesters which as stated by the HRW, something around 79% report GTS symptoms.
not sure if that's supposed to be sarcastic but no they generally put children into tight fitting spots to either clean things out or do small repairs which can quite quickly turn them into mulch with the accidental flick of a switch, especially on farms.

You can't get rid of that with laws. If it were my son, and my farm, yes my son would work on the farm but there's no way in fuck I would let him do it unsafely, or when I can see he clearly isn't interested in the work. For me, it would be about giving him a skill and a start in life not about making money off my kids work.
Why would you use child labor in America with so many unemployed adults
Children work more hours for less money and they won't strike because they're to scared or to dumb to do anything. Plus you can pay them as little as you want and since they're children they can do fuck all about it.
Muh free market & unregulated capitalism
It's really more corporatism. Conservatives in this nation do not understand that the core element of capitalism is not business but consumers, and that laws that they pass to 'protect capitalism' ought to be beneficial for the consumer, not for business.
