Donald Trump is really unpopular with general election voters, and Cruz probably wouldn't win either
Don't underestimate the stupidity of Trump and Republican only/Sanders/Hilary lost voters. Some would vote for Trump because Sanders/Hilary lost. Hell, there are Republicans who would vote only Republican even if the nominee is hated by them or is an overall bigot that "tells how it is" and "speaks from the heart."
Its true that Trump speaks the truth, the problem is that his truth is a bunch of racist/sexist hate speech half the time and the other half is basically stupid shit.
This is cited commonly, but the gist is- don't panic if Sanders gets the nomination. If Hilary does, it may be an "oh fuck oh fuck" situation.
I'm honestly terrified of this election. So many asinine policy promises and ideas on the right this time around (sorry mates, but the republican party's lineup is complete shit)
because people are tired of the republican bullshit they may have good 50 years ago ( well besides pro jim crow law ) but now they just bend over for big companys
regan republicans blame everything on obama, then look to their party and puke. they'll be helpless if a republican like trump or cruz got into office and things didn't get any better
I would vote for Trump over Hillary any day. Finally get someone who isn't afraid to say what they want instead of another robot who only says what people want to hear. Someone who actually HAS emotions.

People keep saying Trump knows what he's doing, but when peopke make demagoguery this easy, he really doesn't have to.
This is the least likable election ever. All the top tier candidates besides Sanders are disliked.
Clinton vs Cruz or Trump would just be a contest of who people hate the least, which is Clinton.
If you have to choose a dishonest and slimy politician, at least choose the one who is most effective at it.

I'm soo glad someone said it. I try to somewhat keep up with politics but this year's election is a huge joke, besides Sanders, who seems the most solid out of everyone. But that's just my two cents.
"I like this candidate more because he says insane things and doesn't care about whether or not he's right."

If only Hillary were cute. A cute robot girl as president is a lifelong dream of mine, and I can only hope my fellow citizens share that dream.

I'd vote for SHODAN over trump.
I vote for tits and Ass
What. Every candidate is "disliked" in some way. How is it possible for Sanders to be the only not "disliked" candidate?
Sanders is literally the only candidate on either side with a net positive favorability, meaning that people actually like him. Hilary and Trump on the other hand have very negative favorability scores, meaning that people outside of the respective Democrat and Republican parties do not take kindly to them.

Liking a politician because they speak freely regardless of what they speak is a really bad idea.
The fact that people are willing to consider voting for a man to be president who has never had any proper formal political experience, has made countless Amoral business decisions and had to file for chapter 11 bankruptcy multiple times, and once accused Obama of being an illegal president from Kenya is insane to me. I get that 'honesty' is valued, but remember you actually need this dude to run the country and meet with other political leaders from other nations, 90% of which hate Trump

Oh. Kinda like Obama getting in due to "race card"? Millions of people voting for him even though they have no knowledge of political stances. Voting for Hillary because "It's about time a woman was president!". Am I saying everyone does this? No, I am not. But unfortunately that's the way it goes. The most popular one gets in because they say the right things. So yeah, I am glad SOMEONE is actually saying what they think instead of just spoon feeding people what they want to hear.
I wish we had more politician in office who were not "Politically Correct", republican or democrat. That way things would actually get done. But everyone has to be careful not to offend anyone.

Yeah why can't we all be allowed to be racist and get things done like building a fucking wall on the border to Mexico. Trump isn't the way to fix the political system, he's just a symptom of it being fucked up.
If I can't have a republican then I'll take Bernie
anyone but Hillary

Bernie says what he means, and has been for, like, a bazillion years now. He has always been vocal about his beliefs, always stood by them, and that hasn't changed now that he's campaigning for president. Or is that not the kind of honesty you value?

Hey nevermind the fact that he's a crazy old racist rabblerouser about as qualified to run one of the most powerful nations on earth as a hatrack, he said a couple things I agreed with this one time so he can't be all that bad, right?
I am terrified of the future

There's a difference between saying what you think and playing an outrageous asshole. If you look at Trump's history prior to his candidacy, you'll see he flip flops just as much as Clinton does on various issues.
That title is terrible.
It's so shocking to me that Cruz is apparently coming out as a possible contender for the nomination. Cruz is such a pathetic looking person, he just looks weak and wimpy and sad, he sounds like Ned Flanders and he is the overall physical embodiment of disgusting television evangelicals (which is of course why he's gaining support, given that this is America).
[editline]20th January 2016[/editline]
Plus his politics suck but that's a given. His physical appearance and demeanor though are just repulsive lol.
Yeah I'm honestly not worried about him at all. A surprising amount of votes are based entirely on appearances, and Cruz is not someone I would want to look at for four years.
