How so? He's obviously doing something right, each new CoD shatters the sales record of last year's.

What, should I just drink tea, water, eat nothing but veggies and only save meat for once a month?
Because in quite a few food related threads that's what it seems like you want some people to revert to.
uh dude I'm just offering you advice, not telling you what to drink. drop the persecution complex

Sorry if this comes off as some sort of attack but really... 90% of the time when I see you talking about food, there's always something in there that says it's bad for you.
You sound like a vegetarian.
and what kind of fucking dumb statement is this:
"you sound like a vegetarian"
why would you make such a trivial observation

there needs to be a mod whose sole job is to fix thread titles in this section
that or let OPs change it

Sorry, but if I want advice, I'd ask for it. Unwarranted advice is a strange peeve of mine.
And for some reason I hate it when people say milk isn't good for you... Sure it's loaded with fat in most cases but it helps with bones, right? So what's not to love? v:v:v
I'm gonna google it later and see what's so bad about it.

The dumb statement came from horrible experience of other vegetarians. Most of them that I ever meet tend to be pompous assholes who think they're better then everyone who eats meat and like to shove their thoughts down your throats. I've never met a nice, jolly vegetarian. Jolly Green Giant my ass.
Though me generalizing all vegetarians bad because I've never met a nice one is rather stupid of me to do, I apologize.

Really?
I've heard people say if you drink too much milk it can turn your bones brittle, but not... Damage them.
I've only trusted my parents, friends and my doctor who knows me like the back of his hand on nutritional value and never what "studies" show, ever since the whole "fish is full of mercury" and "eggs are good/bad for you" fiasco where no one could make up their minds.

I used to drink soda almost exclusively up until about six years ago. And getting richer every day simply by telling other people poorer (and with more practical skills) than himself what to do. And because more money = more money due to investments and interest.
Wait this guy went from nobody to CEO of a company in under a year, and now he's a major part of Coke too?
Jesus, say what you want, but he's a corporate genius.
Welp, time to switch to Pepsi.

Being born rich or happening to stumble upon just the right person to give you the leg-up in a business isn't equal opportunity, unless probability counts.

IMO he does deserve it. Good money for a hardworking Americunt.

I didn't say he isn't "good" at what he does, sure he is but I hate him for what he does and how he does it.
No new flavors, we just release the same drink in a new can every year and you pay out the nose to get it!
Watch as soda prices skyrocket.
There wont be any change in the quality, stop overreacting. Kotick is a clever businessman, and he knows that he cant lower the quality and up the price, because people are used to how Coca Cola is right now so they would drink something else if he began fucking around. The only thing I would see is more CoD promotions on cans and such.
One man cannot even moderately change the operations of an entity as large as Coca Cola, especially considering that he is now only a Director of it. Not even the CEO would be able to run the business like an autocracy, unless he or she had the support of the Board of Directors. This isn't the end of Coca Cola (and if anything, if Kotick had autocratic powers Coca Cola would probably go into renewal) so shut up about it.
The only thing I can see coming from this is increased influence from Activision Blizzard in regard to the marketing of Coca Cola, or vice versa. Hell, it more than likely only is a personal desire to achieve the position he has, so there might not even be any influence from Activision Blizzard onto Coca Cola at all.
[editline]17 February 2012[/editline]
Judging from the article, I believe it would be correct to assume that Kotick's position will indeed give influence to the marketing through digital mediums of Coca Cola. If so, Coca Cola should be grateful. If individual Call of Duty titles can become the most valuable pieces of media in history (in terms of sales), then who knows what might happen with Coca Cola.

Coke didn't make you a fat slob. Eating too much and not moving enough is what made you fat.

There are conflicting ideas on the effects milk has on your bones. First of all, milk has protein in it, and any animal protein saps calcium from your bones. However, a few doctors say that the rate is 1.75mg for every 1g protein. Milk has 8g protein and 290mg calcium per serving. That means you lose 14mg calcium, but you still have a net gain of 256mg calcium for your bones. This doesn't take into account vitamins and minerals like magnesium, vitamin D, potassium, and phosphorus which are also linked to bone health.
This would seem to point to milk being objectively good for bones unless there is any evidence that I failed to find.
