This comparison feels kinda disingenuous when you realise that Halo exists on the PC in multiple forms but just isn't available to the public in a form that is actually Halo.
Well the user is vetted and has been on a good track record so far, but given that outright denial by Microsoft we'll see. Probably just Halo 5: Forge (which I for one am looking forward to).

At this point I don't think it's even a business decision, I think they're angry that nobody bought an Xbone and are throwing a temper tantrum.
A mod should edit the title since the source now clearly says its not.
At this point I think we'll have better luck with a fan made halo 3 than microsoft officially porting it who apparently hates the money in my wallet.

Yeah, he's right. RTSes and map makers are one thing, but there's no way an FPS would sell on PC... :speechless:
I feel like people would care if we were still in that dry spell between 2007-2013 where everything PC was just a console port and the platform was hurting for good AAA shooters. Not the case anymore.
Honestly I could care less when the rest of the series isn't on PC anyways

H5 multiplayer is actually pretty great, it would be awesome to have it on PC

why doesn't nintendo offer an ios/android emulator: because they worry it would affect their hardware sales

It sort of is when the forge and custom games get released on Win10.
I wouldn't mind paying a few bucks to add Arena matchmaking, and I can live without Warzone.

Who was it that said "certain games belong on PC, others on console" as a means to explain why they didn't put Halo back on PC? Fucking certain it was Phil Spencer.
Halo 5's story may be terrible but from what I hear the multiplayer is pretty good. Shame that the stigma surrounding the campaign ruins the entire image though.
If it's coming to PC I can bet that it be Windows 10 exclusive and be sold after the free upgrade timeslot.
It would drive people to finally buy/upgrade to 10 and is perfect for their plans.

Campaign would only come once they release a MCC like game in the future, maybe an Arbiter Collection.
Multiplayer is already here, if you count Halo Online. True halo 3 multiplayer would come with MCC.
there was an mcc rumour in with the sunset overdrive pc rumour too but man how many halo rumours have we had since the steamDB leak in 2013
Really, really disappointed if Microsoft just decides to go for the worst solution to the Halo problem, by giving us its' last installment instead of the MCC.
I thought the stories in the graphics of the HALO Series are still pretty damn good. YouTube in-game footage of Halo 1 you could see how far the game has come. I'm not the biggest fan of how the game is going but it's not terribly bad.
biggest selling point to me has always been the story of Halo I just can't wrap my head around Cortana being the new villain. It Feels So feels so forced and unnecessary like they ran out of ideas or just had to push a product

either is good imo but MCC is the better option but halo 5 on pc? man imagine the shit we could do with that, the latest and greatest(?) version of the engine

Really? Phil Spencer seems like a more genuine person than your average big wig, but if he did say that I'd wager it was him reading somebody else's script they'd written for him.
