I think the main problem with adopting google glass (and probably becomes an even bigger problem with two lenses) is that noone wants to be that guy who walks down the street with one before they've become well known and everyone is wearing them Noone wants to be the one guy on the street wearing the weird future glasses, you just look like a douche doing that, like if you have one of those earpieces
I can't see why you would just be randomly wandering around with them on, I mean if I were going to a theme park or somewhere really interesting I'd take them but just going down the street or whatever I'd leave them at home.
They look better in Deus Ex. I'd grab a pair if they were real, and had all those abilities.
if they had the abilities yeah. but i would get something better looking. you'd look like a huge doucher wearing those
if they had the abilities yeah. but i would get something better looking. you'd look like a huge doucher wearing those
Who wouldn't want to look like Adam Jensen? He's studly.
You know those are bolted into your skull right? And the glasses sheath under your skin, I mean there's probably a pouch or something but still.
Who wouldn't want to look like Adam Jensen? He's studly.
because 90% of the people wearing them would be neckbeards who think they look awsum
THANK you, I was just about to say "the fedora looked great on Indiana Jones but we all know how that turned out"
Yeah but ~FUTURE~
I won't buy any of these until they support 3 eyes.

Anyone can run up to you and just take them off your face. Maybe some sort of headband that locks around your head?
This is freakin awesome! Can't wait to see what else competitors come up with!
I am very happy someone else is stepping up to this; let's hope no one pulls an Apple and sues left and right some day.
That's what these kinds of head-mounted optical displays should be. Then again, though they'd look better than a one-eye piece, you'd have both eyes potentially focused on the screens and not on what's in front of you.

Same thing was with computers, laptops, mobile phones and cars. They just get integrated with time. It doesn't happen over night.
