anyone defending the bikers should consider eating a landmine
Wow, i just now got to watch the video. I cant believe that anyone would side with the bikers.
You can clearly see the biker watch the car driver as he pulls in front of him and slams on his brakes for no reason. Its the same exact thing you see people do in ensurance fraud videos.
They could have left it at that, got his plate number, call the police, and let him go. Instead, they surround him. When youre surrounded by dozens of bikers, after one purposely ran into you, your fight or flight instincts kick in. The driver plows them over in an attempt to get to safety. The bikers had yet another chance to call police, let him go, and avoid further confrontation. Instead, they chase after him. Not for just a minute, but for several minutes, into the city. The driver stops again, giving them another chance to get his plate and call police. Instead, they block him in again and even try to open his door. Fight or flight kicks in again, another biker is hit as the driver flees to safety.
Think the bikers learned to let him go and call police? Nope.
Bikers follow him again, for a couple minutes, deeper into the city. Eventually the driver is caught in stopped traffic. Another chance for bikers to do whats right, write down his plate, call police, and avoid further confrontation.
Instead, they swarm him and start attacking.
The bikers were in the wrong the entire time, while the car driver did nothing wrong
Personally, i wouldn't have driven off as i knew it would have intensified the situation and put a rather sizable mark over my head. Sure, if there was two or three bikers but 30 is out of the question and as this goes to show, it didn't end any better for him.

so you would've stuck around so you could get your ass kicked by 30 bikers thus endangering the life of your family and you. ok

I could say the same about you risk being killed because you fucked up your own risk assessment like this guy did, trying to outrun 30 bikers who want retribution.
Also, fuck you for trying to undermine my wholehearted intention.
I feel sorry for the driver.
That looks incredibly intimidating, I can see why he panicked and just took off
wasn't the man in the SUV dragged out, beaten in front of his wife and child and then slashed repeatedly across the face?
Instead of "brake checking" cars, they could try their luck by "brake checking" semi-trailers.
:v:

I can imagine so.
Every group has it's knife-wielding dickheads who go too far.
I think it was a bit embarrassing for ALL the bikers to hunt the dude down like that. Gang mentality at it's worst.
someone on facebook is ranting about how the bikers were innocent, how the fuck can you seriously justify a lynch mob type mentality?
Anyone who sees any fault at all with the SUV driver here obviously didn't watch the video with their eyes open.
A biker purposely causes a collision then him and his friends threaten the driver, the driver flees in self-defense, the bikers give chase. Eventually they catch up and begin physically assaulting the driver.
Fortunately, from what I've heard, the NYPD will not be pressing charges against the driver but will be pressing charges against the riders.
Here's a bunch more videos that got deleted by the uploader. The bikers were riding around like assholes all day before hand.

He would have gotten away if he hadn't gotten stuck in traffic.
Literally everyone was in the wrong...

Perhaps the driver, before the video, had made a gesture or something. Doesn't matter, that's absolutely no reason for them to have attacked him. The second they surrounded his car and got it to a stop it was all about his self defense and ensuring the safety of his family. He obviously panicked but I don't believe he is in the wrong.

good, he was in the right and doesn't deserve to get charged, the fact that they beat him at the end of the video is a good idea of what their original intentions were.
I know several people that exclusively ride motorbikes, they would all agree that SUV was in the right. He may has not been graceful about it, but these guys didn't leave him with much of a choice.

A person has a right to self defense. For me to buy the idea that the driver of the SUV was in the wrong then I'd need to be shown a reason why I shouldn't believe he was fearing for his and his family's safety when he moved forward.
From the original video, and the new videos, I can only see why he SHOULD have feared for his family's safety, since those bikers were endangering the safety of everyone on the road with them.
As someone who lives in a city currently facing a bikie war about to start. I would of done the exact same thing as the driver and a lot of my friends who live around here who saw the video agree that they would of too.

Melbourne?
I wonder if they realise everyone thinks they're a bunch of knob heads. They take themselves super seriously when really they're old, fat, bogans who ride motorbikes and shoot people that wear slightly different leather jackets than them.
