How are they overrated, both movies are insanely great, I'd go as far as saying they're cult classics.
They're not cult classics, "cult film" implies that it's only popular in a specific group of fans and hasn't gotten much recognition outside of that. Neither of the 2 are like that, everyone knows about them and everyone knows they're amazing (unless they're stupid).

Sometimes I get mixed up, but they would be classified as classics yeah?

Classics, yeah, definitely.

They have extremely generic plots and plot twists. Once you look past the Samuel L Jackson lines, and "I was the cop all along!!!" they really aren't anything interesting if you actually think about what is going on, they are predictable and bland.
Pulp Fiction was okay, but god Reservoir Dogs was pretty fucking boring. One of those few films where you can't wait until the film ends.
You're worse than Hitler

Tarantino movies are far from generic.

"generic" "predictable" I don't know about you, but I wouldn't in a million years have predicted the rape dungeon.
unless that's the sort of thing you're thinking about.

John Travolta doesn't approve of your hate.

Dude, spoiler tag that shit! Some people haven't seen these 20 year old movies!
PF is one of my top ten favorites. God damn wonderful movie.
Next to return to the big screen:
star wars: re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-release re-re-re-re-re-remastered double edition 3-D CGI remix
the entire plot is adjusted according to Lucas's original vision. Luke will fall into blind love with Leia and be of a sentient human/frog race. The entire plot will be focused more on romance now up until the big twist where they find out they are actually related.
