New car that runs on thin air , it will ruin your social status

That's amazing what they are doing, but does it really have to be that style?
looks like one of those cop cars you'd see in the UK
Seriously, why can't they design an "air car" that looks like this?

I bet their sales would increase ten-fold if they made their car look even remotely badass.
Because this beast weights ten times more
This is not how you appeal to the mass market.
Tesla did it brilliantly.
Reminds me of a Scooty Puff Jr.

It's uncanny, really.

Not entirely keen on the aesthetics of the car, but the general idea sounds great! I had a look at their website too, and they're doing some interesting things with generators as well as having some nice concept cars listed. Now, all someone needs to do is make a badass looking version of the airpod and they'll be quids in and the planet will be saved!
I don't understand why all these "green" cars have to look like stubby little pod things. That isn't cool.
Taking the Reliant Robin and making it run on hot air, like most politicians.
That's actually one of the most masculine-looking cars out there.
Consider this: If you had real balls and weren't afraid of looking like a dork, which one would you drive? Which one requires more guts to ride in?
This shit always happens. The engineers do an amazing job and then the designers try to fit it into a fucking egg-shaped abomination.
Robin Reliants have 3 wheels. They're the worst "car" ever conceived of. I see no hope for this.
top gear sheep
I got an idea, stop wasting time on new car designs and use on the ones we already have and focus on strictly creating a hybrid that actually effective and doesn't cost a million dollars.
Looks like something I'd wear on my head.
Seems small enough, too.
Now instead of running out of gas, we'll run out of thin air :byodood:
I'd drive that thing to school. Show up making a really low "EEEEEE" sound.
I would drive that car everyday. And I'd be willing to bet chicks would totally fucking dig it.
I guess it's because they want to make them stand out as a sort of subliminal advertisement. You see a crazy ass car and say- oh that's one of those new eco-friendly cars! It makes you notice them and they get popular and accepted, and possibly cool. Also- it resembles the smart cars, so I changed it a little.

Something I would want to keep in my garage but never drive in the streets.
Turn it into a motorcycle and we'll talk. Would make more sense, it looks less retarded, and the body would probably be lighter.
Driving with a joystick would make things so much easier (somewhat)

It uses compressed air with a piston engine. That's not exactly new tech.
I would drive the fuck out of that car.
OP, there are tons of chicks that would be all over you for having that car.
Revolutionary or not, that thing looks ridiculous. Just because something is high tech doesn't mean you have to give it that stupid futuristic look.
Yeah - They have done this in vans tho the green channel a WHILE back ago had a peice on it - there youtube clips
I'd rather drive an ugly car that uses no gas.
No gas = More $ for me to spend. Drive that car and come out with a banging suit and flaunt your money that you saved from no longer getting gas.

If i remember right tho it uses compressed air to drive
So it cost you about 0.85$ cents per refuel
the issue with cars like this is that air compressors require gasoline or some other significant fuel resource to actually compress the air so no real benefit is seen
I would definitely drive this. How many seats does it have?

So you don't think it's possible for a renewable energy source to be used in the process? They're not eliminating the emissions completely, they're just reducing them.
In the future we'll be driving 30 km/h in plastic 3 wheelers.
Watch the video, it has a top speed of 80km/h, not 30. That's more than enough for a car intended for the city.
