Delivery company announces bankruptcy on Christmas Day and tells workers to expect 'substantial' job

My dad works for Yodel and honestly, delivery sounds like a horrible job to do. He went to deliver a parcel to a lady, and she asked him to "not knock on the door" because she had a migraine. I'm still baffled as to what she expected him to do.

If she had a doorbell, I'd have rung it, because hey you're not knocking on the door. Or just knock on the window instead.
I've only had one package delivered by City Link and by the time I got it the delivery guy had carefully opened the box, taken a messy shit inside, and closed it back up again. I complained and was told that it's actually official company policy to do that with every package. Not surprised they went out of business
Explains why they're known as "Shitty Link"
