Wars can start revolutions, change people's thinking, unify, form new governments, re-draw maps, expand economies etc. When it comes down to it they are a part of human nature that keeps civilization in balance. There's generally so much tension leading up to a war and it creates a lot of problems, eventually is has to erupt so the world can settle.
I'll be glad to lend you a time machine so I can send you back to the 1900s. [editline]7th December 2010[/editline] It's fucking 2010. Information is passed on globally. You don't need wars to change the way people think.
Of course! It's a copy of Crysis!
That means crytek was right all along and all we did was laugh at the shitty alien levels.
I'm sorry to say guys but Wiki leaks is doing more damage, by giving all this to the public it can cause all kinds of problem you guys are calling these people Hero's but in the eyes of the countries they are giving information about they are viewed as terrorist, not to mention ALL of these people will be dead in the next year. The Government is not going to rest while they post shit like this. Giving me Box's just proves my point you guys don't understand, please give me more.

On one side you have people defending WikiLeaks ideals, and on the other side we have guys like you claiming that WikiLeaks already did damage, that all the informants will be dead by next year, and with some random mention of the magic word 'terrorists'. I think I'll avoid the In The News section till this all blows over.

You've mistaken things you can't understand for stupidity. Edit: I agree with Clavus (even though we don't have the same opinion), this is irritating.

If you're ever in a war where America genuinely feels the effects in terms of getting attacked/bombed/financially ruined you'll retract that statement.
Holy jesus, that just made my head hurt. Interesting nonetheless. You said something about not knowing which part of the brain releases DMT? Scienceforums link mentions the pineal gland. Still, people have been known to have dreams that affect them badly, even though we all have it. Experiments with DMT could be either unreliable or dangerous.
I did mention the pineal gland (EG the Third Eye) I read somewhere that they're not entirely sure if its developed there, they have a reason to believe it is though.
The only really interesting thing I can think about what's inside the document is that there is some sort of hard proof in the document that 9/11 or another attack on the US was an inside job to justify other wars. That's like biggest piece of anti american intilligence you can give to the general public.
I did mention the pineal gland (EG the Third Eye) I read somewhere that they're not entirely sure if its developed there, they have a reason to believe it is though.
Not familiar with the term, so that's new. Well, it's the best we've got right now. That is, until they find out that it's maybe produced someplace else.

Plus, wars are generally massively detrimental economically for those directly involved. The reason America benefited from WW1 so much was that the war was not fought on their soil; France and Germany sure as hell did not benefit from it.
What we do today will dictate what history will write of us in future. If he does release this file, and it does live up to the hype, the world will change forever.
The secret file is HL2:Episode 3 demo. [editline]7th December 2010[/editline] :v:
This guy's a fucking asshole. Shoot him, now. How can he release something when he's fucking dead? Yay, boxes!!!
shut up shut up shut up
The secret file is HL2:Episode 3 demo. [editline]7th December 2010[/editline] :v:
Would've expected more from "sokrates".
Did they really need a professor of cryptology to tell them that the file was uncrackable?
Did they really need a professor of cryptology to tell them that the file was uncrackable?
it would take years to crack it.
Its alright guys, the password is pasword123.
Did they really need a professor of cryptology to tell them that the file was uncrackable?
no, but most people don't understand how cryptology works they'd be all "if we could crack the nazi's code we can crack this, what gives?"
What software can we use to decrypt the file once we actually have the key?
no, but most people don't understand how cryptology works they'd be all "if we could crack the nazi's code we can crack this, what gives?"
Just before anyone asks, the encryption has a complexity of 2^256, you're going to need a scientific calculator to even find out how many combinations you have to check.
What software can we use to decrypt the file once we actually have the key?
TrueCrypt works.
Did they really need a professor of cryptology to tell them that the file was uncrackable?
Yes for news articles they always want a credible source to confirm things.
How can this file be called "doomsday file"? It's only the rest of the cablegate documents and some other classified US papers, probably about iraq, or china, or korea. How the hell could that trigger doomsday? It would probably harm relationships, but nothing else imho.
All armed prophets have been victorious, and all unarmed prophets have been destroyed.
That sounds like something only a Al-Queda member would say. Or someone from the middle ages.
It's not called the "doomsday file" god damn it. [img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5636656/insurance.png[/img_thumb]
I mean people call it that way, ffs
I mean people call it that way, ffs
Because they're dumb and listen to media hype.
This guy's a fucking asshole. Shoot him, now. How can he release something when he's fucking dead? Yay, boxes!!!

He's a tratior to the world, he may not be releasing the info, but he's running a site knowing what people are using it for. For fuck's sake, he founded a site called wikileaks. He can't argue that he doesn't know what the fuck's going on.
The conclusion is : You are a fucking idiot.
Anyway assuming that file could trigger a holocaust by itself is pretty dumb.
So all that is needed is a "key" right?
