For you all you know the motion capture of Jar Jar caught him mouthing off the other actor's lines. It's a common thing that amateur actors do during scenes. You can see it a lot in other places. I still think that the whole theory is ridiculous, and is in line with some of the wacky 9/11 conspiracies out there.
I don't think Jar Jar was facial motion captured, just body movements. His face was animated by hand later.
you should because the voice actor, Ahmed Best, basically confirmed it on twitter. After that reddit post, he wrote #TPM, aka, The Phantom Menace. https://twitter.com/ahmedbest it's not even speculation at this point that jar jar was meant to be the sith version of yoda.
Uh, yes it is, hence why we're speculating.
I'm sure half of the people believing the Darth Jar Jar theory are on the joke, half got convinced becuase of the pretending. It's like the Indoctrination theory all over again.

It's most likely he did not know anything about Jar Jar's character evolution throughout the 3 movies then later when he finally gets attention again is like "...yeah.... THAT'S RIGHT" sort of how like a shitty student in art class makes a shit piece of art then the class is like "oh, you're sculpture represents the oppression of native americans in the frontier?" and he's like "...yeah!" George Lucas and Ahmed MOST LIKELY had no deeper meaning behind Jar Jar besides being comic relief. Sure you can make a video pointing out very small things that he does that could be considered "using the force" even though to me he still looks like he trips around and just acts like a stupid idiot bunny.

Its almost like you know something we dont.
Making Yoda fight physically was the worst mistake they could have ever done besides doing the prequels like they did in the first place
it would have been so rad too to see him fight a war without even physically doing anything. in the originals you get some idea as to how powerful he is (or was) and then in the prequels it's like "oh he can jump super good though!" he should be quaking mountains and crushing robot heads with the Force like in Scanners, instead it's treated like the most amazing thing ever that this three foot tall elf can fight exactly as well as literally every other major character and has no outstanding abilities other than not being 100% useless. [editline]24th November[/editline] the one cool thing he did was when he casually walked into Palpatine's office and made Palpy's bodyguards pass out without looking at them. it still makes no sense that he could do that but still need to physically swordfight dudes but it's a hint at the kind of character he could've been

Soooo fucking disappointing. Hopefully JJ Abrams gives us a proper force battle on screen.
I would like to see more lightsaber duels without the Force used as a secondary weapon, so to speak. I want to see it more on the blades clashing more than the two duelests jumping literally over one another and force pushing and such each other. That's where the excitement is at, at least for me.

He was just a voice actor, not a writer. Have you read the reddit thread yet?

He's critical of what he calls "choreographed dancing" battles from the PT.
I'd actually seen a running joke a few years back during stream rooms after a marathon of the prequels. It was about how Jar Jar had planned everything, all coming back to "there's no such thing as luck" coming straight from the mouth of Wan. It's weird, years later, seeing all this compiled and for it to actually make sense. I remember enjoying my new found temporary view of Jar Jar as some masterful Jedi, but I always thought of it as a joke. But all of this? Oh boy. Now I know what was with Lucas and his comment about JJ being "the key". He always did look at it like poetry, and we have so many other parallels to the sequels. But where's that big one? Where's the insignificant side character that is actually of prodigious power? He was in plain view all along. Hiding in plain sight.

I'm surprised people are getting so emotional about this.
