I see we're from the same region. Yep, we've paid for gasoline. Yes, it is expensive, but it's expensive in the other countries, too. I wouldn't call it corruption, more like equalisation of prices. Gasoline isn't free for the gas companies, you know.
Hurray for many years of Russian government corruption to come.
Fuck.
Who else? Only sensible candidate other then Putin was Prohorov. Lets see it in next 6 years, when new generation will become more powerful then the old one. Maybe even Medvedev will cut off Putin's string in next elections. Who knows.

Gas is expensive everywhere, quit being stupid and using that as an excuse.
We should send over some Puttinov vodka, 140% alcohol may help them forget about how corrupted their government is.
Putin will win every election because he wants to.

It's not equalisation. It's monopoly. We're oil-producing country. But very little amount of that oil stays here to be processed into gasoline here, because it's not as profitable for RosNeft' and GaspromNeft' as it is to just export. If there were any cometition, we would have had a lot lower prices. Not like that in Venezuela, I agree, but a lot less. But it happens so both of these companies have Putin's close friends and former collegues at their head. I don't believe in such kind of coincidences.
Man, I'm sorry for calling you a sheep, you seem quite sane for a person that can say something about 'pricks', guess I have misjudged. I debated a lot with my collegues (who really are sheeps) here, so I might be biased and jumpy.
I would like to continue, but my shift is over and I'm being thrown out for now.

Who would you guys rather be elected then Putin? Out of all the candidates Putin is the most qualified and the most sane.
Who would you guys rather be elected then Putin? Out of all the candidates Putin is the most qualified and the most sane.
He appears to be the only decent candidate because he has shut down all the viable opposition groups so that people will say "Who would you guys rather be elected then Putin? Out of all the candidates Putin is the most qualified and the most sane."

Who would you rather have power in Russia? Putin, some businessman who sucks at politics, or a nazi. I'm not being pro-putin I'm just saying he is the least retarded.

Putin needs to go before there can be real change, the opposition under him is always going to be shit because he won't allow any serious challengers

He won't allow them because there are none, you are kinda overstating his power. Who would you rather, in the current candidate list pick for president?

Probably Minorov
Probably Minorov
Isn't Minorov the one who endorsed Putin for the passed 10 years.

He is not that powerful. Yes. But Russia as of today is kind of fascist state - with a huge 'corporation' at it's head. Every part is connected to all other parts, no separation of powers. It's not federation anymore, since 2005 when regions' governors were no longer elected. In 09-11 most of the mayors were also made un-electible. And that's what Putin is. "Chain of command" (вертикаль власти) he built works like that. The judiciary, the executive, the legislature, everything is a part of this system. And it is oppressing every kind of strong opposition. Prokhorov, one of the candidates, made it to the head of political party. And as soon as he started saying against this corporation, he was thrown out by loyal members of this party, whose names weren't known at all.
Also I hope people rise the fuck up and protest now that Putin's in for a third run. The more dissent and unrest the better.
Heh heh. Two days ago one guy from the unregistered party bought a lot of tents to give away to people for today's protests. The second he appeared at place to start giving away, he was arrested for "stealing tents". Now he's at the court. It happened so one store in Moscow was "robbed" that day.
And that happened before even 20% of votes were analised, imagine that.

If you were Canadian I'd say you sound like a Liberal voter; Liberals don't change anything for the better, they just keep things exactly the way they are while they steal everything not bolted down and make off like bandits.
Wins with 53%
After the whole riot thing. I wouldn't vote for that president again.

Those don't sound like Liberals at all
