Almost at the half-way mark in terms of # of states decriminalizing.
I give it about 8 years until it makes its way to a case for federal legalization, we're witnessing the downfall of a modern age prohibition. Hopefully though, we get into other things like legalized same sex marriage in all states. We're a long way off, but the wheel of change has begun its first revolution.
Jeez, just a few months back I was living in Burlington, if I were to go back now the place is probably a fucking cloud of smoke.
I hope you understand that bills like these don't change hardly anything other than the legality, those who smoke will continue to smoke, along with a small portion more who will now try it simply because it's legal, but that's about it, I don't know why everyone assumes once something is made legal, everyone and their dog is going to start using it, after all, not everyone smokes cigarettes, and not everyone drinks. Well I'm speaking as though it's legal, it's only decriminalized, so even less so as it's still illegal.

I'm generally against drug legalization but I do have to admit I like this particular law. Like this law enforcement can focus on dealing with the real source of the problem rather than being tied down going after people who just got caught up in it.

All the UVM bros are gone, which actually make up a majority of the population. I wonder if this will cause the college to get more newcomers?
