And yes, after valve heavily optimized them. Macs can play games this is obvious, but they have a very limited selection of games to play. You don't buy a mac to play games nor is it meant for games this is the central point.

So you're completely dodging the fact that nobody buys Macs to play Arma 2 or Amnesia so it doesn't matter
Most people who have Macs get them for productive reasons or ease of use and simplicity, not gaming ability and selection of games.
The title made me think that the guy claims that iPads will start to replace PCs.

Weird, I've read this article before....when the iPad came out. And the iPad 2. And the thirty Android tablets. And the Blackberry Playbook (hah, just kidding. Nobody wanted that).
If it's possible, I see tablets replacing phones or PDAs rather than PCs.

Hold the phone here.
Tablets are getting significantly cheaper than PCs. And since they use a touchscreen interface, they're seen as much simpler by non-techies. The PC won't die, rather, they'll be seen as a different kind of computer for different tasks. Regular folk will most likely pick up tablet since all they'll really be doing is browsing the web and typing stuff up (keyboards for tablets).
It's really a case of which market gets bigger. It would make sense to say that tablets will outsell PCs for their sheer simplicity and portability (and price). But saying that PCs will get extinct is stupid.

You do realise that Apple (or anyone for that matter) haven't been anywhere near a GMA chip for about 5 years now right? New MBP's have a fairly reasonable mobile graphics card in them.
Any mac sold in the last ~5 years can do anything a non-Apple computer can do. People need to realise this and get over themselves and accept that some people prefer macs.
