Jeez, why do the immigrants do this? It's not difficult to be civil. To think not with your gut, but your brain.

I believe they are thinking with their brain - except they seem to make no room for differences in culture.

Seriously who's guts tell them to riot
Jeez, why do the immigrants do this? It's not difficult to be civil. To think not with your gut, but your brain.
Think of them as "poor people" instead of just immigrants and it's a bit easier to understand.
http://www.dn.se/sthlm/polis-skot-for-att-traffa-i-rinkeby/
The shots fired weren't warning shots. They were trying to hit rioters. They just missed. That's all.
You're saying people don't throw rocks at social workers or cops every time they enter white suburbs in the US? Are Americans robots?
Why the fuck would we attack police officers, and above all social workers? It happens occasionally but it's just fuckheads and is absolutely NOT the norm and for you to just casually drop a bomb like that in a thread says a lot about where you live.
Can anyone else from Sweden confirm this guy lives in Little Somalia or is attacking public servants an actual fucking thing.
I'm pretty sure you'll find such a comment is sarcastic.

It's a thing in certain neighbourhoods in the largest cities. Police, firefighters and paramedics all gets stones thrown at them.
It does seem to happen a bit often.
It happens in the more criminal areas, that's where the myth of "no-go zones" spawned from.
That said, it's not exactly "normal" behavior in any sense. I think it's extremely disheartening.
Of course, it's not a regular occurrence.
Of course, it's not a regular occurrence.
Well, it happens several times a year, just not everyday.
So you're confirming Sweden actually is a third world country now? What the fuck am I reading, still not sure if this isn't sarcasm.
Sweden is a third world country tho technically
Well, it happens several times a year, just not everyday.
People who are treated like shit tend to act agressively.
Which leads to them being treated worse, thus making them more agressive.
It's a vicious cycle.

The situation isn't helped by ignoring the problems we're facing. Not nearly enough is done to help. Integration is a mess and these riots are proving that.
Sweden is a third world country tho technically
I don't think you know what third world means
Of course, it's not a regular occurrence.
It happens more often than you think, it just doesn't always end up in the media.
And honestly, it is pretty much always immigrants that start this, the rest of the time is the occasional football hooligans or when left wing and right wing clash together during protests.
Otherwise it's always rinkeby, rosengården and the other immigrant heavy areas.
I don't think you know what third world means
"The term Third World was originally coined in times of the Cold War to distinguish those nations that are neither aligned with the West (NATO) nor with the East, the Communist bloc. Today the term is often used to describe the developing countries of Africa, Asia, Latin America and Oceania."
So in the original definition Sweden would be a third world country

Cops, maaaaybe, I can understand. But firemen and other social workers? Absolutely no sympathy. That's not a vicious cycle that's unjustifiably attacking people who are trying to help you. All three of those professions are already hell, fuck having rocks thrown at you on top of it. I feel like I'm in the Twilight zone or something.
Because things cannot ricochet ever. Nope. Doesn't happen. There is no risk in firing into the ground whatsoever.
With proper training and knowledge there is zero reason for such an irrational fear. Yes ricochets are a thing, but they are well understood and can be avoided by most people with braincells. There's no ultimate gurantee, but a ricochet is still better than shooting a person point blank, even in regards to endangering bystanders.

... okay? It's 2017, not 1947-1991. The cold war-era definition doesn't matter anymore.

Faaaair enough

The correct term isn't first and third world countries but developed and undeveloped countries.

What's the word for a de-developed country?
Input literally any meme about the Sweden from /pol/, and You can call it "reality" by now.

I think its obvious he was making an ironically over pedantic joke.
on topic:
What caused the riot? Was it the police going in to try an arrest people?
This would happen in any neighborhood with a decent community. The fact that Rinkeby is more than 90% immigrant is completely unrelated.
It's natural human behavior to throw rocks at authority figures and social service workers.
I can't believe what im reading?
anyways, police need to get this dealt with and fire at the rioters. if they're hit too bad, but there is no other way to stop them. there is not a single other solution that ive heard at least

We don't know, but like aways right wing sources goes for BECAUSE MOSLEM IMMIGRANTS
We don't know, but like aways right wing sources goes for BECAUSE MOSLEM IMMIGRANTS
Poorer areas tend to get these problems and immigrants tend to move into poorer areas because its cheaper to live there or they know someone in the area (none immigrants would already know people elsewhere, an immigrant might only know a few people in the country).
I'll call poor areas "ghettos" obviously the people living there are not all immigrant, most of these poor, crime ridden "ghetto" areas near me in the uk are inhabited by people born in the uk.
Stopping immigration (as I'm sure the source would advocate for) wouldn't solve the issue since the ghetto areas already exist.
Solution:
Investment - stop the poorer areas from being ghettos and mitigate the effect they have.
Integration - encourage immigrants to move into other areas instead.
For refugees (since the government has control over their movement) I would say distribute them across the country make them rely on their communities so you prevent the problem by stopping them moving into ghettos in the first place.
Looks to me like a correlation rather than a causation.

Sadly no, and it's not really a big surprise. Two apologists and a 16 yr old swede walk in to a thread; 16 speaks what he thinks and apologists use vague wording to describe the opinion's representation in the population.

Idk what if you not only stopped the immigration but also deported the existing ones? It's almost like the problem would literally leave the country.
