If they hadn't reached their minimum goal ($65 000) no money would have been given to them.

Awesome. I'm not a US citizen so I won't benefit from a theatrical release, but the work NASA does affects space research and science globally so I wholeheartedly support this.

It baffles me how stupid shit like "Bronycon the Documentary" and "Tropes vs Women in Video Games" get over a hundred thousand dollars and media coverage, while interesting and insightful documentaries like this barely get noticed.
