I was kind of expecting it to be like a news application that just happened to cover some past events, but this is intriguing. Last I remember it's hard enough to get an app approved on apple if it isn't a casual game or a fart soundboard, you'd think something like this might have peaked the approval staff's interests.

I suppose not all of them are actually checked and some workers simply click approve without checking them.

I think they write up all the names on a board and then throw darts at it.
Pretty sure the protesters in those countries don't also want every single citizen of the country dead, as well as government officials...
I don't think Palestinians want that either
How was it offensive?

It made Israel feel scared

If someone released an app on the market which was called "Kill the irish", you think perhaps irish people might complain?
Though, they're probably all too pissed all the time to notice anyway :v: but thats the general sentiment behind it

If they did, Israel would be all over that fact, instead they say its offensive because its "anti-Zionist and against Israel and calls for an uprising"
To be fair though, naming an app about watching Arab revolutions "Intifada" is like calling a Neo-Nazi watch app "The Holocaust." It's the same level of disregard and disrespect.

hey guys let's take back X square of land by force and kill every single person that looks like they might possibly not want this to happen
yeah, no idea
[editline]24th June 2011[/editline]
seriously, this is like making an app called "world war 3", posting every kind of anti-russian/german/pick-your-country news you can find, then denying that it's a catalyst for violence

Um... Isn't that what the Israelis did? Also, the Intifada is an uprising against Israel, it does not specifically target civilians but calls for resistance against the Israeli government and military.

Yeah that is exactly what Israel did.
and then that's exactly what happened during the diaspora
facepunch shits itself over how bad an eye for an eye is but when it comes to something they don't like it's suddenly both eyes and an arm for a stubbed toe
