Keith is pretty classless. Nothing of value lost.
Yes, we should be Shakespearian like O'Reilly and refer to people as pinheads, tell them to shut up, and sexually harras co-workers.
Yes, we should be Shakespearian like O'Reilly and refer to people as pinheads, tell them to shut up, and sexually harras co-workers.
"O'Reilly is worse" is not a valid defense Warhol
"O'Reilly is worse" is not a valid defense Warhol
To Fox apologists, it is. Besides, just saying "lol hes classless" doesn't make a good argument
there is no independent media, everyone has an agenda
I'm getting tired of most his segments anyway, it's the same shit every night. I watch Chris Matthews just for the laugh.
To Fox apologists, it is. Besides, just saying "lol hes classless" doesn't make a good argument
If Olbermann is stupid enough to not follow company rules, maybe infact "nothing of value was lost". And don't compare people at fox to anybody else, because it's basically like comparing Conservative fascism to logic and reason.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/11/05/keith-olbermann-suspended_n_779586.html So basically Olbermann was caught giving money to democratic candidates, and MSNBC suspended him because they wanted to keep their credibility. Fox has donated millions of dollars to the RNC so I don't see why this is such a big deal.
and Fox has absolutely zero credibility with anyone except for those that seriously watch it that's why it's such a big deal. [editline]7th November 2010[/editline] also just for fun, here he is with a mustache
Yes, we should be Shakespearian like O'Reilly and refer to people as pinheads, tell them to shut up, and sexually harras co-workers.
i admire o'reilly's truly brilliant usage of the american language. he can back up almost nothing he says, purely because of the vocabulary he uses - on purpose. he can make viewers hate someone in a matter of minutes, with them only getting three words in, because he knows which people watch the show because they seriously believe the shit he says. of course, whether or not he follows the shit that flies out of his gape remains unknown, i would certainly hope he follows glenn beck and doesn't. (if you didn't know, glenn beck pretty much doesn't believe in nor agree with everything he says, he says it for viewers because viewers bring in money) [editline]7th November 2010[/editline]
you have the most interesting avatar in the world

Basically the polar opposite of Glenn Beck.
Nope, Beck is infinitely worse. More like the polar opposite of Bill O'Reilly.
msnbc has rules stating that you can't donate if you work for them He went against company rules. As much as everyone seems to be pissy about it that's the standards the company has set.
I hope he comes back, he was a really great anchor.
The government has no right to censor the media. That's in direct violation of civil rights.
Fox has the right to be tried for false advertising "fair & balanced". [editline]7th November 2010[/editline]
Here's the larger point, though, that's going mysteriously missing from the right-wing cackling and old media cluck-cluck-clucking: I know everyone likes to say, "Oh, cable news, it's all the same. Fox and MSNBC -- mirror images of each other. But if you look at the long history of Fox hosts not just giving money to candidates, but actively endorsing campaigns and raising millions of dollars for politicians and political parties -- whether it's Sean Hannity or Glenn Beck or Mike Huckabee -- and you'll see that we can lay that old false equivalency to rest forever. There are multiple people being paid by Fox News to essentially run for office as Republican candidates. If you count not just their hosts but their contributors, you're looking at a significant portion of the entire Republican lineup of potential contenders for 2012. They can do that because there's no rule against that at Fox. Their network is run as a political operation. Ours isn't. Yeah, Keith's a liberal, and so am I. But we're not a political operation -- Fox is. We're a news operation. The rules around here are part of how you know that.
http://maddowblog.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2010/11/05/5417114-on-cable-news-and-cable-not-news Valid point.
