its also illegal to buy guns in saudi arabia of any useful caliber. the black market is a bit of a screwed up place and their gun laws are corrupt but they have stricter laws than the UK

can confirm this, grew up in smalltown ohio and my family was shocked that a... socialist! was running for president and was popular.
