We keep doing what we're doing, so we can go through a depression, so I have something to tell my grandchildren.
You're probably a 14 year old kid who hasn't experienced the real world and you rely on your parents income thinking everything is fine until your ass is kicked out of your house, correct or am I not? Yeah I don't think we exactly want a depression to happen just so you can say "I lived through a depression!" you fucking idiot.
serves them right.
Damn right! They could have physically harmed someone with all those plants!
And we, the taxpayers are holding people in jails and prisons at our expense because they use/sell marijuana during these times. According to the dictionary, a depression is 18 consecutive months of economic downturn and in about 3 months, it will officially become a depression. Explain the logic in that?
I can see why you attempted to make marijuana somehow related to the economy but you failed miserably. Whether you agree with it or not, Pot is illigal so there is no point in getting all butthurt over it.
Damn right! They could have physically harmed someone with all those plants!
ya blunt master 420
I was all ready to go "in b4 o wow im so jealous i wish i had that much weed" but I was too late, stupid druggies
I can see why you attempted to make marijuana somehow related to the economy but you failed miserably. In fact, it is more American to challenge laws that one feels unjust than to sit around and do nothing.
Smuggling an illegal drug that shouldn't be illegal in the first place.
That's all fine and dandy, but a lot of these people smuggle to cash in on it, not because they want to fight prohibition.
quoted b4 edit.
I'm not going to edit it and if you're trying to get me banned, I'm positive any mod with any real sense would agree with what I said.
Pretty fucked up right? Your life can get fucked up over marijuana whereas tobaco/alcohol are legal and yet they are medically worse for your body.
unless.....yknow.......you jump off of a building, or run out in traffic or something while your high on weed.......
ya blunt master 420
how do you know who i am??
That's all fine and dandy, but a lot of these people smuggle to cash in on it, not because they want to fight prohibition.
I'm not saying that but why should their lives be screwed up over something that shouldn't be illegal in the first place? It doesn't make sense.
unless.....yknow.......you jump off of a building, or run out in traffic or something while your high on weed.......
try actually smoking weed before you talk about it
I'm not saying that but why should their lives be screwed up over something that shouldn't be illegal in the first place? It doesn't make sense.
because they're smugglers that got caught in the act, not potheads who just had their stash discovered.
unless.....yknow.......you jump off of a building, or run out in traffic or something while your drunk.......
Fix'd
unless.....yknow.......you jump off of a building, or run out in traffic or something while your high on weed.......
Yeah I know dude that shit happens all the fucking time, just last week this dealer sold some dank shit to this guy I know, and he got so fucked up he jumped right into a wood chipper. Weeds some crazy shit ain't it?
Show me the damn weed!
because they're smugglers that got caught in the act, not potheads who just had their stash discovered.
When they go to trial, people will be focused on the marijuana, not the act of smuggling and that isn't right. They are going to be charged with intent to distribute marijuana and smuggling narcotics
Fix'd
You don't get high on alcohol. Yet another reason we shouldn't legalize marijuana, you don't really understand anything about the drug and only want it legalized so you can get high. While you're talking about how much money we could save by legalizing it you're also completely avoiding the physical and mental aspects of the drug, for a pothead you're one materialistic bastard.
unless.....yknow.......you jump off of a building, or run out in traffic or something while your high on weed.......
Actually salvia makes you hallucinate and dude fucked up things alot quicker then weed does. And salvia's legal.

Physically and mentally alcohol is much worse than marijuana will ever be.
Just, woah... How did they get that much?
When they go to trial, people will be focused on the marijuana, not the act of smuggling and that isn't right. These guys wouldn't even want marijuana to be legal.
Cought
I would also like to take this time to tell you all that I smoked marijuana during high school but I'm not some fucking stoner, I don't smoke it anymore and I probably will never again but I do support the legalization because when I have kids, I don't want them using cigarettes because those are the only legal alternative.
Read the post, I said drunk. Physically and mentally alcohol is much worse than marijuana will ever be.
Before you edited it it said high on alcohol, don't play me gangsta. Don't try to say, "this legal thing is much more harmful than this illegal thing so lets legalize it" cause that's just as horrid of an argument as the monetary one. You know damn well that we can't stop people from using alcohol or tobacco at this point in time, and just because marijuana isn't as harmful it's still harmful.
I can't really imagine the logic behind prohibition. Except for maybe a moral one
Why does it fucking matter that the stuff they're smuggling happens to be something you don't think should be illegal? These guys wouldn't even want marijuana to be legal.
They are probably going to be in prison for 10-15 years and our tax dollars will pay for their essential needs during that time. I do believe they should be punished for smuggling but a seperate count for intent to distribute marijuana is just flatout bullshit. They were well aware of the consequences before they decided to smuggle in a drug that they have had PRIOR knowledge is ILLEGAL. Yes, I know it shouldn't be illegal, but that is besides the point. They knew of the consequences therefore should pay with their punishment.
