it was pretty good because pyros couldn't spy check
I bet most of you don't play L4D that much anymore, or DoD, or HL2.
If you don't like the beta, at least you got a normal amount of hours of playtime out of TF2, no big deal.
Ever game gets old to people after a while, and TF2 has managed to stay pretty strong for 3 years.
I stopped playing L4D1-2 a long time ago.
They don't have nearly as much replayability as TF2 does right now because of all the updates.

I like the fact that they've never given up on the game and they never stop producing content for it.
No doubt about that, but they destroyed TF2 for seriousness with the lest few updates.
Just a matter of time before purchase-only weapons with effects appear.
So from what I read, I got that they're having a beta TF2 going now along with normal TF2, to get more bugs out of the way before updating the normal TF2. Is this right?
If yes, that's pretty smart on their part. More diverse base of play testing, without having to pay everyone...

The only reason it took me until the post to notice it was because I automatically thought it was the CSS Beta.
It is actually beta testing for Team Fortress 3.
I was hoping for a return to a beta of the game without hats and shit in it.
