Gonna download this tomorrow, stopped playing TF2 since the last few updates, it just doesn't have the same feeling...
The atmosphere original tf2 had was ruined when they introduced all these unfitting hats and weapons.
What's with people saying they want a "vanilla" version of TF2, when they actually mean they want to remove stuff and change things?
Vanilla means without mods, i.e. the default clean install of TF2. It's not some arbitrary mix of things you like.
Bring back the vanilla TF2, without all this superfluous bullshit.

Every videogame fan community has its good bunch of retarded players (for example, Sonic the Hedgehog's current fanbase is full of furries and horribly embarassing and stupid 12 y/o that do the most horrible fanarts ever). I prefer to ignore those and focus on the playerbase that I feel better with instead of bashing everything. TF2 has things I don't like, sure, but that happens with almost everything that exists in this universe, nothing has to be perfectly perfect to please me v:v:v

Actually, I liked the class update weapons. Just the first set. Get rid of everything but each individual class upgrade and new gamemodes that we've acquired over the years and I would be so happy.
I hope they starting working on some optimizations

Why so many people see unlocks as the demonic spawn of the antichrist in the game? I think they are the least bad thing that TF2 has.

It has the class updates.
The PS3 version is update free, and despite what many people believe, is generally bug free. The only issue on the PS3 orange box is that EP2 lags occasionally.
I have 711 TF2 hours and played almost every single day.
And then Mannconomy happened... Haven't touched in 3 weeks and probably never will, valve cocked it up with all the fucking hats
