In the meantime if you want phone batteries that last you a week I heartily recommend www.zerolemon.com. I've bought 2 of their batteries so far and they've both been great.
Looks pretty good, I'll definitely use that next time. I got a double capacity battery from amazon and it's been going amazing, I'm totally down for my phone being a tiny bit bulkier in exchange for double the battery life :v: Hope this tech works out soon because batteries have been a massive shit storm of disappointment and failure in terms of advancement for so long
It is awful when any sort of internet connection is on. I turned off wifi and it lasted me 6 full days. With wifi it can barely do a day.
WiFi doesn't seem to harm my battery as much as 3G
These batteries swell pretty easy, I had to get a new one for my S3, I dropped it once and the battery started to swell like a mother fuck
Thanks to Google's utterly retarded guidelines my One(M7) doesn't have a replaceable battery anyway
Just had a thought.. What would happen if you put one of these batteries in a nokia 3310? It would never need charging!
I'm happy to hear this...but realistically, won't this take at least 2 years to get into mass production if even?
"your phone's battery life" is a very subjective term, my 4 year old iphone struggles to see out a single day.
lose virtually any decent flagship smartphone*
My comment was in response to him complaining about not being able to remove the battery. All flagship android phones have removable batteries. Don't know much about windows phones so I can't comment on those. Edit: I stand corrected.
Hahaha battery life isn't going the double, phone manufacturers will just use batteries twice as thin
We need someone to make a PSA about anorexia in phones. I don't want a thin piece of shit that would break easily and have shit battery life, I want a mighty durable brick that harnesses power inconceivable and can last past Ragnarok. I would be happy having that weighty motherfucker affixed to my arm and act like a fuckin' PiP-Boy. What we need is a Luna-situated manufacturing plant that makes durable powerful devices suitable for the rigors of living in space, with the ability to be easily repaired, resistant against most hazards, and capable of going a long time without constant repairs. That'd need to be a manufacturing standard on the Moon, since if your device bugs out in the middle of hard vacuum or you can't radio home base, you are pretty much dead in the void.
All flagship android phones have removable batteries.
HTC doesn't, Motorola doesn't, Google's Nexus doesn't. Do your research please. edit:
The LG G2 didn't either, luckily they added that to the G3.
hah, I actually messaged a friend with the G2 asking about it, he didn't respond yet. Guess too late now :v:

I stand corrected. The galaxy series has removable batteries and the majority of my android experience is with those. My bad! I also googled the nexus and a forum post said it was removable in the 5, but I guess I misread it or they were incorrect or something.
Sweet, now the iPhone's battery can last for 10 minutes
Aw, I was about to post the exact same thing.
You mean they'll finally be able to reach the advertised range while still taking yonks to charge. Let's be reasonable here.
do you have to shitpost every time someone mentions Tesla in a thread?
