my voting thing got lost in the post if no wins by a single vote blame the royal mail, those conspiring bastards
How did you find out? Never experienced it
my voting thing got lost in the post if no wins by a single vote blame the royal mail, those conspiring bastards
Well, that is bollocks. And somehow, I think if it came down to a single vote it'd end in a re-vote.
How did you find out? Never experienced it
When everyone else's turned up but mine didn't.
When everyone else's turned up but mine didn't.
Oh I thought you meant you posted it off and then it got lost
If your vote didn't turn up isn't there some way you can vote in person at a polling station and they can cancel the mail one? Seems odd that they just be like "whoops, lost your vote in the mail. oh well I guess you can't vote now"
Holy shit Gordon Brown isn't a boring speaker any more He should have been involved in BT from the start
list of toxxers should be in op

I always thought Gordon Brown was pretty based.
my voting thing got lost in the post if no wins by a single vote blame the royal mail, those conspiring bastards
The monarchy wins again.
my voting thing got lost in the post if no wins by a single vote blame the royal mail, those conspiring bastards
You should still be able to vote. You just need your name and address. The back of my polling card has the info on it, it just says you go in and tell them the info on the card (just name and address) they'll have a system to confirm it so it should be fine. I'd certainly go along anyway because if you don't go then you definitely don't get a vote. If you try you have probably a fine chance of being allowed to vote. It's not like it has a picture on it or anything to prove it's you. I mean for one thing they were sent out ages ago so people will have lost them by then and I really doubt they'd not allow you to vote just for losing your info slip.

I think he means his polling card, everyone eligible gets one through the post. They came a couple weeks ago. I reckon it was that, and without it you hopefully should still be able to vote since all it is is a slip with basic info on it that tells you where your nearest polling station is.

Just needs to go along to his local polling station and give them his details. Bring his driver's license or some other ID on the offchance that they do ask him to prove it, but they shouldn't.
Hoping for a yes, it's about time the UK stands on it's own feet than overtaxing and under respecting the scotts.
Hoping for a yes, it's about time the UK stands on it's own feet than overtaxing and under respecting the scotts.
Overtaxing and under respecting? How?
I want it to be no, but comparing the two campaigns, it feels like yes might actually prevail.
Overtaxing and under respecting? How?
Don't quite the under respecting point, Scotland has more political benefits than the entire rest of the UK so I don't think you can make any claim that West Minister has been unfair to it.
I bet you riots will break out if 'No' wins.
Holy shit Gordon Brown isn't a boring speaker any more He should have been involved in BT from the start
I was listening until the point where he started rambling about points where the "SNP haven't answered" For one, the SNP have given answers to (As far as I'm aware) all the points. For two, who gives a shit about the SNP. We'll get to choose who is the party running Scotland soon - and I personally won't be voting SNP unless their policies conform best to what I hope to achieve in this country. For three, I haven't received a reason why we are better together. That's the entire campaign message of the no vote. Why the fuck haven't they brought me a message - without possibility of refute - why we are fucking better together already. I'm sure I could have been persuaded earlier, but better together failed in that. I haven't seen anything from better together than reasons why we will be worse alone. What the fuck guys. Conjecture about why we'll be worse alone isn't going to persuade anyone, give us reasons why we're already better with you and will be better in the future.
It's reassuring to see that the BBC's results night studio designers have stuck to their usual 3D CGI Jeremy Vine Matrix labyrinth approach. Also it's fucking massive this time http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-29238038
damn. the result will probably be published while i'm sleeping, I'd like to see it live.

For comparison the NeoGaf thread poll is: 43% Yes 37% No 20% Undecided
damn. the result will probably be published while i'm sleeping, I'd like to see it live.
The national result should be declared around 7am so you could get up early for that
What if Scotland is voted independence and they're a successful state?
What if Scotland is voted independence and they're a successful state?
RIP £.
RIP £ with currency union.
FTFY (probably). It isn't a certainty.
