I love how people can preach sanctity of life but they're totally fine with the mother dying.
Or putting more money in the defence budget and war against other religions.
Sure bro, I'll clean my couch
Thanks bro
Glaber be trollin' as always.
This is probably the 3rd thread I've seen on this subject, yet no dupage locks. But all these articles are making a huge thing over a non-story. The GOP just wants the feds to stop paying subsidies for abortion. I'm pro-choice, and I agree. The whole flap was over the stupid addition of the word "forcible" to the bill, which has since been removed.
good thing it will never get through the senate.

However:
Note: this isn't the forcible rape bill, this is completely different. Just getting that out of the way.
I want the bad reading rating back.
I wouldn't expect republicans to know that an unborn child cannot survive in the womb when the mother is dead.
This reminds me of a joke my boss told me " working in Washington and the circus are the same in the sense that cleaning up after the elephants is the worst job".
I wouldn't expect republicans to know that an unborn child cannot survive in the womb when the mother is dead.
Except they can, for a short time. And the vast majority of pregnant mothers dying is during the birth process.
And Canada is supposed to be the 3rd world country. I in no way judge the entirety of the US by this but these people were elected.
Source. Now.
It's a pretty common comment from ignorant members of the right side of the US political spectrum. Along with Socialist and Communist. I am know there was one news article from the New York Times but I am having trouble finding it.
I'm kind of anti-abortion to an extent... and this is still retarded. [editline]6th February 2011[/editline] like completely fucking retarded
I think I might want to kill "the spokesperson" and everyone related with this monster. [editline]6th February 2011[/editline] And its also time to erase capitalism.
If a baby is endangering someones life, abortion is a necessity. I may not agree with casual use of abortion, but this is sick.
Once these people raise a few unwanted rape-babies on minimum wage, I'll be glad to listen what they have to say, but for now they can fuck off and go back to their circlejerking over going to war with brownies.
I wouldn't expect republicans to know that an unborn child cannot survive in the womb when the mother is dead.
It's god will.
What the hell? I hope this falls through - seems really retarded and illogical. I guess it is mainly based on "religious" people

If you think so, can you tell me who has said this or at least what groups? Also, do you mean only the ignorant Socialists and Communists say this?
He meant that "socialist" and "communist" were words used by ignorant right wingers.
Ah, I see. My bad then.

And for the record, the word "forcible" exists in this bill as well. I don't know if this is the same bill or not but "forcible" most certainly was not removed. Notice how I read the bill before posting about it
I'm happy I live in Europe.
I'm happy I live in Europe.
Europe is a broad region with many countries - some of which don't even allow abortion if the woman was raped Lookin' at you, Ireland
I'm happy I live in The Netherlands.
I'm happy I live in The Netherlands.
Netherlands doesn't even allow late-term abortion to save the mother's life. 2nd-trimester abortions are the limit with no exceptions.
Europe is a broad region with many countries - some of which don't even allow abortion if the woman was raped Lookin' at you, Ireland
I kinda take that back now, I mean what the fuck.
Whoever made this bill up and put it forward should perform a post-natal auto-abortion.
So far, I've yet to see a compelling argument from these "pro-lifers"
