The whole myth is a bunch of lunacy
So without the Moon, there will be no tides and the ocean will be still?
I remember the last solar eclypse, the light outside was like a dark, orange tungsten looking weirdness I felt like I was trippin
full moon gives me a boner explain that 'scientist'
Are you from Japan by any chance?
But ive seen people doing stupider stuff when theres full moons?
But ive seen people doing stupider stuff when theres full moons?
Confirmation Bias and Placebos. It is exceedingly difficult to analyze something like this yourself, and not allow factors such as these to influence the results, or your perception of them.
When somebody does something stupid on a normal night, nobody really cares. When somebody does something stupid on a full moon, they claim it's because of the moon.
My mum thinks the Full Moon causes people to go insane and drink blood, and she won't take this. At least I know this myth has been debunked, it was stupid to begin with.
What are you talking about every full moon I become incredibly hairy and go on a horrendous killing spree.
Who thought this to begin with? I have never even heard of it.
There was a study that showed correlation, but not causation.
Astrology describes this behavior. I'm glad to see this myth debunked. Another part of astrology disproven.
well duh how would the lunar cycle impact mental health anyways? i mean the moon is so weak it can only pull something with the surface area of an ocean by a few meters, how could it make an impact on an individual's brain?
the people who believe this crap don't know anything about stuff like universal gravitation, let alone occam's razor. they just believe what they want
hahahaha people actually believed this shit in the first place? even if there was any evidence for it, it would probably be a case of correlation not causation
This has been known for many years now, how is this news?
