Well yeah but when you are in front of a determined killer who has already hurt several policemen and refused any sort of negotiations for the past 30 hours, you have to act.

According to the RAID chief they had to kill him because he ran to the window and they believed he was going to shoot at people from it, they didn't want to take any chances.

What the fuck is with these people bitching and moaning about how he should have been captured? There was [B]NO WAY[/B] to capture him, he was actively shooting at police, and if they did try to capture him, multiple police officers would get killed. Is effectively killing police officers [I]really[/I] worth trying (and no doubt failing) to rehabilitate some psycho who thought he was doing good by murdering people? Now, I'm not for the death penalty usually, but when a man murders a large amount of people for no other reason then his own inability to accept other religions? No, he deserves to die. Not horribly, like some people here seem to think, but he should die for his crimes.
