He deserves it for uploading it before-hand, but it's a pity he'll get a year for this. it's such a shit film.
These are the people they should be going after, not the downloaders.
Well to each his own. I myself got a quite pissed when[sp] Deadpool showed up WITH HIS MOUTH SEWN UP. He's "The merc with a mouth" damnit![/sp] Of course the rest of the movie wasn't much better, but... God damn that got me.
You know, I'm probably the only one I know who enjoyed it because I'm the only one who doesn't really read comics. Since I didn't have any "favorite characters" I wasn't pissed off when the movie messed with them.
I love how everyone's spazzing out as if it was the RIAA suing a photocopier for more money than exists on Earth. This is how you're supposed to deal with pirates, guys. The FBI did an investigation as per criminal law, gathered enough evidence, brought an uploader before the court, convicted him, and sentenced him in accordance with the law. I agree that the RIAA/MPAA are a bunch of insane shitbags that think little old ladies should pay 750K per song for downloading the latest Usher album on a wifi connection she doesn't even own, but this simply isn't the case here. The FBI tracked down one of the people responsible for seeding the first releases, leaking them entirely even, and sentenced him appropriately. Save the outrage for the MAFIAA, guys.
All i can say is it sucks to be him, i mean what kinda dumb ass releases a copy of a movie before it is even released in theaters. That is practically begging for someone to come knocking at your door. Uploaders are the ones that generally get caught.
I am Legend and Star Warse Episode 3 got released before they were in theaters.

I've bought films on DVD/Blu-ray after seeing them for free. Goddamn it, just spend the money on something after you've seen it and liked it. Also, how much of an abortion does your film have to be for the tie-in video game to be a million times better?
"So what are you guys in for?" "I murdered a man" "I tried to smuggle 100 kilograms of heroin" "I uploaded a not yet released movie to the internet."
How about putting in jail the people who made others pay for that shit movie? That's theft too.

Hugh Jackman was as good as ever
Interesting..I always thought piracy was comparable with that
nah, piracy creates a new, unofficial copy, think of it more like counterfeiting then theft
Wait what, Deadpool was in that movie?
no he wasn't that was not deadpool, that was a travesty
no he wasn't that was not deadpool, that was a travesty
What? Who was? Who wasn't? help
Hugh Jackman was as good as ever
So he was terrible? Got it.
What? Who was? Who wasn't? help
Ryan Reynolds played Deadpool in the film during the beginning and the end, although they butchered the character at the end.
He was terrible in this but the Deadpool film actually seems promising.
