Except its not funny and I thought I'd let you know that.
Don't know if you know this, but humor is subjective. Surprising, I know.
Thank GOD for dead shitposters.
Don't know if you know this, but humor is subjective. Surprising, I know.
Harambe is objectively not funny though.
Can someone explain the harambe meme to me? i dont get it. I know its a gorrilla that got shot in a zoo for some reason but dont understand the relevance to this or what its about.
It's kind of dead at this point. But IIRC at the start it was essentially making fun of those who create a massive uproar when something/someone dies such as cecil the lion, and don't actually do anything about it/forget it immediately. Or at least that's the interpretation I agree with. edit: btw blessings upon you mods
Harambe is objectively not funny though.
The gorrila on it's own, yeah. The joke that spawned from his killing? Purely subjective. [editline]1st September 2016[/editline] Admittedly, the bans were justified. My bad if it seemed like I was trying to defend the shitposting.
You say humor is subjective, but saying "harambe" to every gorilla is not humor, it's preteen idiocy
Yeah, I get that. Even specified that I wasn't defending the shitposting. I was trying to defend the joke of harambe.
I find it funny that people are so triggered over a dumb meme.
Yeah, I get that. Even specified that I wasn't defending the shitposting. I was trying to defend the joke of harambe.
It shouldn't even be a joke in the first place. The gorilla died, and in the most unfortunate way ever (For those that might not remember, some 3-4 year old kid somehow managed to get into the gorilla exhibit and they had to shoot the gorilla dead just to save the kid). That, alone, shouldn't have been funny, but someone just so happened to say "Dicks out for Harambe" at some point, and suddenly it became a meme and it's funny to laugh at a dead gorilla. [editline]1st September 2016[/editline]
I find it funny that people are so triggered over a dumb meme.
I'm just tired of hearing it. At first, I didn't mind it too much, but suddenly, every time there's a gorilla present, the meme comes up, and it was starting to get annoying because they're laughing at a dead gorilla.

Harambe would, in fact, not be a bad name for a gorilla. Except in this specific context where it would attract all sorts of the wrong attention. Honestly I would fear for the second Harambe, solely for the potentially dangerous attention it could receive for meme's sake.
this was literally the reason that they made the dicks out for harambe meme to mock people who took this so seriously like people who all the sudden cared about this gorrila
You don't have to care all along about the goddamn gorilla to realize what happened was sad and real shitty. Regardless of how it started, it became "shoop da whoop XD" levels of unfunny real fast
I'm certain at this point that for at least the next 5 years anytime there will be mention of a gorilla, people are gonna meme harambe. Buckle up for the ride lads, calling it dead and unfunny won't stop it
name it king kong thats a gorilla that was shot that needs recognition more than hara[redacted]
