Could be rural, rural houses are super cheap (Because they suck)
my house is rural, doesn't suck, and cost us 80k (in 2000)
Also, dog needs to go to the vet, they don't cry with emotion, they "cry" because the normal drainage for tears into the throat is blocked so it comes out their eyes instead.
Probably due to shittons of fiberglass being chewed on.

What funny prices, you should see the house prices for some of the towns in california!
[editline]4th February 2014[/editline]
or california in general if 80k is a legit price for you guys.
Awww, the dog is crying!
I'd be crying too after having chewed through that amount of fibreglass

Yes I gathered that already but it made for a fitting statement.
it says hes a car fanatic so if he collects cars he is probably worried the dog would do this to his other cars.
That picture of the crying dog is one of the saddest things I've seen today, damn.
In less than 5 years his beloved DB9 Volante is going to be worth half of what it used to, his real mistake was buying a car which does as good of a job of retaining it's value as a pasta strainer retaining water. I just found the same car which was 92,999 One month ago, today it's valued at 87,999. That's 5 grand in a month, that's $166 USD a day. I'll probably pick one up here in about 10 years for like 30 grand for a nice 09 with under 30k miles if it keeps going this direction.
Terrible owner, hopefully the dog goes to a home where they actually care about it.
How is he a terrible owner, sure he gave it away, but he didn't beat it or abuse it.

"I'm so sorry"
The dog was ALREADY being rehoused.
But nah let's be judgmental and jump to conclusions
"I'm so sorry"
No it's not
At least he didn't put the poor thing down.
Hopefully the dog goes to a worse owner. Horrible creatures.
Your house only costs $80k? Do you have like half a room or something?
I actually have quite a large house. 1450 square feet on three acres, carport big enough for two full-size SUVs(Or four hatchbacks if you don't mind parking two of them nose-to-tail in each side) and uncovered parking for two more. All of that for just $75K. Best part of it all? I'm in the only site built brick house within five miles of my address.
'Tis a major advantage of living out in the sticks, bro. You actually get your money's worth buying a house(My house sitting on just half an acre in a typical suburb would be easily $150K), and it's actually yours when you pay the mortgage off. Try it sometime.
Downside is you have to live in the sticks

Look at this smug bastard
uh no? his 60k+ car has been ruined by a poorly behaved dog, fuck it.
"Car is insured against £3,000 damage and will be repaired next week".
Downside is you have to live in the sticks
That's an upside, to be honest. I can't stand being in a suburb and living in the city proper would drive me to insanity within a week.
That dog could make a good living in pulp mills.
Terrible owner, hopefully the dog goes to a home where they actually care about it.

Mr Grimstead, from Chedzoy, Somerset, said he had already been considering re-homing the dog, which he said did not get along with his other dog, but the damage to the car was the final straw.
Anyway how would that make him a terrible owner? He's just giving a dog away; it's not like he's abandoning is child, geez.
Good grief, the car is a death trap anyways.
Hope the dog is doing fine with the new owners.
Why is it a death trap?
Id give that dog away in a heart beat if it chewed through my car. You people are too sensitive
Id give that dog away in a heart beat if it chewed through my car. You people are too sensitive
Why would you allow your dog into your garage in the first place lel
Is it really that difficult to smear some lemon juice over stuff it likes to chew? That's how we got ours to stop altogether.
Why is it a death trap?
Crumple zones are good, but when it comes to fiberglass, a zone that crumples TOO much is totally not a good thing, survival space and all.
Crumple zones are good, but when it comes to fiberglass, a zone that crumples TOO much is totally not a good thing, survival space and all.
you don't sound pretentious at all.
Sooo he decided to give away the dog he's had for 3 years after an isolated incident left his 15 month old Aston Martin damaged, even though his insurance completely covers the cost of damage repair.
Glad to see the guy has his priorities straight
Because this can totally be the only accident that happened with his dog, indeed.
Considering the amount of times I wanted to tear my GF's cat to shreds after she peed on my GFs bed, I can see where he is coming from, but he appears to either not give a fuck about dog or having anger management problems.
Is it really that difficult to smear some lemon juice over stuff it likes to chew? That's how we got ours to stop altogether.
Do you know what lemon juice does to car paint?
Nothing. Nothing at all.
Crumple zones are good, but when it comes to fiberglass, a zone that crumples TOO much is totally not a good thing, survival space and all.
the fibreglass isnt a "crumple" zone
