dude looks like he would sound like squidward.
what a douche. I'd take that dog.
you don't sound pretentious at all.
And you are totally fine with taking away your own dog because you were too fucking stupid to leave him in a garage in the first place?
And you are totally fine with taking away your own dog because you were too fucking stupid to leave him in a garage in the first place?
Why not? It's just a dog...
Why not? It's just a dog...
A dog with potential health issues from munching fiberglass, and the first thing the cunt does is take him away to new owners instead of the vet.
Your house only costs $80k? Do you have like half a room or something?
Housing is cheap depending on the area you live in. In my case, living expenses are higher in urban California than the deep south of Texas.
Crumple zones are good, but when it comes to fiberglass, a zone that crumples TOO much is totally not a good thing, survival space and all.
Erm... crumple zones have nothing to do with body panels. The frame is what protects you, not the fiberglass. Hence why when you're in an accident, body panels either break off or flatten to help absorb impact.
that car definitely doesn't look the price. if you're going to spend that much money on a car shouldn't the car reflect that?

If you read the article he already planned on giving the dog away because it didn't get along with his other dogs, the dog chewing through the car was just the last straw.
and where in the article does it say he DIDN'T take the dog to the Vets?
shit looking car anyways, who buys a convertible aston martin anyway
because they're cheaper and still have an Aston Martin badge on them
reminds me of the story when a pig ate a car because it was made of plastic iirc.
I don't blame him for rehoming the dog, but my god the people in the thread getting angry at the dog, it's a fucking dog you can't blame it for not being able to read peoples minds.
Sooo he decided to give away the dog he's had for 3 years after an isolated incident left his 15 month old Aston Martin damaged, even though his insurance completely covers the cost of damage repair.
Glad to see the guy has his priorities straight
So you didnt read the article and yet still posted.
Glad to see ypu have your priorities straight.

I completely made the vet assumption completely out of my ass, so I apologize for that. Still though, if he already had problems with the dog, then why did he think it was a good idea to leave him in a garage with a very fragile british vehicle?

Fuck the pooch that eats my car.
tbh it was the nice thing to do to rehome the dog.... it sounds like this dog was way too much work for the dude and they'll be both happier once (if) the dog gets into more capable care
Terrible owner, hopefully the dog goes to a home where they actually care about it.
Terrible would be to beat it or kill it, giving it away because it's incompatible with what you love isn't.
Eh, while the owner probably isn't that great (how the hell do you even let your dog do that and not notice, dog must have been locked in the garage or something for hours), sounds like the dog was simply really ornery for the most part especially since this wasn't an isolated incident.
Rule #1 I've learned about dogs who chew things you don't want them to: chances are its because they don't have anything they like that satsifies their desire to chew on stuff themselves. Our dog chewed up a 3DS and a controller. Chewing on expensive items almost completely stopped once I gave my dog a strong rawhide bone to chew on (something hard incase he wants to chew on a hard item) and a kong (something softer if he's in the mood for that).
He chews on them all the time and loves to run around the house with them in his mouth. He loves having his own personal thing to chew on himself. Bonus, they are both pretty much indestructible. Never had any real issues with chewing on stuff since, sans a chewing a hole in shirt or two on occasion (I don't really buy cloth/stuffed toys since they make a huge mess and he destroys them in about a day.. I'm just glad his favorite toy ever is the indestructible kong).
Stick to metal cars, boys. Stick to metal.
Can't you see the tears in the dogs eyes? :(
A piece of litter flew by, it's not because he's being given away
I don't know how you guys can say that Aston isn't beautiful, giant chewed hole notwithstanding
my dog gets love, attention, the whole nine fucking yards but if left alone for more than 2 minutes she fucking destroys the couch.
sole reason i hate dogs.
It's called "discipline" my dog tried to make love to my pillows, I wasn't having any of that. I screamed at him, "NO!" and when that didn't work, I whacked his nose with a newspaper, he got the message and started humping my bro's pillow instead. All in all, I think it went well

Heres a graphic if anybody wants an example from another situation

I don't know much about cars, so when I read Anston Martin I thought about something else. Especially after seeing all those Friendly ratings. :v:
Your house only costs $80k? Do you have like half a room or something?
Could be a trailer in the countryside, those can get surprisingly cheap. Not every home has to have 3 bedrooms and cost over $500k.

I'm not sure how you discipline your dog but violence , even a little whack does nothing but inject fear into your dog.
It's like 90% of you have no fucking clue how to actually handle dogs.
They aren't china vases. They're some of the most resilient animals on the planet, that's why we keep the as pets- and their brains are wired to work through a hierarchical dominance.

O NO BUT DE PUPPI!!!!!! UR ABUSING YOUR ANIMALS!!!!
GETTING RID OF AN ANIMAL YOU DON'T WANT IS ABOOZ! LOOK IT'S CRYING
So many people on the first page that didn't even fucking read the article.
What in the world would cause a dog to chew through a car like that? Is fiber glass tasty or something?
